You have a 25% rate on HQ2 on your Cloth page, so the fact I havent gotten any out of 193 is sus.
Could be the addon, maybe the way injecting information that is failing to generate HQ2's (idk how but we've seen weirder things happen) or its just failing to parse it (which seems unlikely because it seems to be reading spirit gained through an inbound packet, unless there is information its missing from a HQ2 result)
Could just be very bad luck
Could be SE broke something in the last two years that removed the result. Lets be real here, "Spaghetti code" has been a FFXI buzzword for two decades now.

I went from 0-100 in Elshimo Lowlands, so yeah you can just hang out anywhere.
Yeah my main point is that the assertion that there are hidden rank up tests is simply not true. I've spoken with a plethora of people capped and high rank who have not roamed around to different zones to find specific drops to influence a skill up break point.
Also, while the "Common" pool may be different in each zone... its not such a large difference that it should matter in the longer run (In my opinion). Its more important to know/identify if other diggers are running in your zone at the same time since the loot pool is limited until it refreshes.
I'd love someone to science the egg hat though... I dont personally believe the egg related items you get from wearing it arn't eligible for skillups.

Oh here's a question since I was too lazy to test it and just kind of brought my fav along, what specialty does each pet have if you know?
These are the pet effects:
Akash
Trigger: being engaged & having enmity
Effect: grants "Shining Ruby" (DT -10)
Colkhab
Trigger: your target has a dispellable buff
Effect: dispels 1 buff from the enemy, and gains an "Evasion Boost" aura (+10% chance to dodge physical skills/auto-attacks)
Hadhayosh
Trigger:
your target is casting an AoE skill (has an indicator)
the charge is almost complete (~0.3s remaining)
you are inside the skill's range
Effect: applies a 6s stun to the target
Selh'teus
Trigger: you are engaged and have less than 50% HP
Effect: heals 50% of your Max HP
Slime
Trigger: able to magic-burst fire elemental spells on the target
Effect: uses Frizz on the target (will magic-burst)
Tchakka
Trigger: casting a spell on an enemy
Effect: gains an aura granting "Attack Boost 2" (+5) and "Magic Atk Boost 2" (+12) (the only source of these bonuses, so they're effectively x1.05 and x1.12)
Yumcax
Trigger: you have a removable debuff
Effect: removes all of your debuffs, and gains a Regen aura (3% of Max HP)
Wyvern
Gained from the Annealed Lance.
Transfers any TP it gains to you (halved)
Copies your stats, weapon damage, and most of your secondary bonuses (haste, DA, MAB, STP, etc)
Takes 10% damage from AoE skills
Will try to magic-burst its breath moves

So either the addon I'm using for this doesnt know how to parse HQ2's, its making assumptions of spirit gained, or some things are just being made up, but:
Notice: HQ Synth Success! Chain Performed:Detonation Spirit Gained:3 Current Spirit:29551
I shouldnt be able to gain 3 spirit on a tier 1 skillchain, wiki says the values are
Quote: Initial sphere synthesis: NQ=1, HQ1=2, HQ2=4
Tier 1 Synthchain : NQ=2, HQ1=5, HQ2=8
Tier 2 Synthchain : NQ=5, HQ1=8, HQ2=12
Tier 3 Synthchain : NQ=15, HQ1=23, HQ2=29
Its possible the wiki is wrong, since from what I can tell, the addon is getting the spirit information right from packets.
Anyways:
3806 spheres used
193 HQ
184 breaks

Depending what's in your midcast, the dt might not be doing much. If you swap the dt for other gear in midcast.. and/or drop a lot of hp swapping sets.

That makes more sense. Gear is solid, just need to swap over to my dmg set since nothing subtle blow seemed right to do lol
Didn't even notice Doom was hit based, I've only run it 3 times and I kept dying around 50% so at times I was just face tanking some TP moves to get WS and SC off, I knew there was something to it.
I didn't find out about Pazuzu's fetters today haha, just spammed through his spells with Stoneskin and Blink, so I'm sure a few fights are cheeseable and I probably did so without even knowing.
Any other unique mechanics you've noticed in the other fights? I've found a few various ones, it's been a lot of fun figuring them all out but thanks for the Rarab clarity

The question was around FC for brd but OP's sets make little sense unless they're non-gearswap sets that need a mixed DT/FC set.
In which case the sets promoted also make little sense since they're for gearswap not vanilla.
OP - decide what you're doing. Gearswap doesn't need DT in precast. Vanilla needs to take into account both idle, pre and midcast sets since pre and midcast need to be done on a vanilla macro.
TL;DR - it depends. Only person here that can give detailed sets advice for vanilla is probably Male.
Does having capped -DT hurt if my FC is also capped? Meaning...am i missing out on benefits elsewhere?

Sounds like I'm doing all of the right things then, hmm.
I'm guessing maybe in this it doesn't resist blunt nor take extra damage from piercing then?
Does magic / physical seem to make a difference?
The only debuffs I'm focusing on are Def/Atk -15% and Dia for the -10% VIT, did you use any others?
Death Spell isn't really an issue, using Seed and Hell or a combo of one plus Thunder if I need a quick stun in there as well.
The issue seems to be damage output, is there a trick to the Doom? Is it a static timer? Because it's certainly not in seconds. Does anything increase or decrease the remaining time?
I certainly built the wrong set of gear though, Subtle Blow does 100% Nothing in this fight, the TP moves all seem to be timed, rotated, or unaffected by any TP down strat (SB or Lowing).
What build did you go with? I'm thinking I am going to just aim for WS Dmg, SC dmg and MB dmg? Or due to TP for the boss not really being a thing to keep track of, are DA, TA or QA viable?
Thanks for the heads up on all of that, I'm even more confused as to why my dmg output seems to be lacking here as opposed to any other Doom DPS Check fight.

For spilling chocobo digging is there certain zones to be in at certain level ranges? Currently around 35 and in jungle outside SSG. Not sure if I can stay there for long time or not. Also ffxiclopedia mentions rank test items and some areas being better for skilling up vs making money. Thanks.
The "rank test items" is bogus. I 1-100'd in Sarutabaruta
I went by their info on zones due to having larger "common" item pools, leading to more frequent successes at lower levels. Not sure how accurate it all is though, given its 10 + year old info
Thanks for the info, sounds like i can just stay in a single zone then? The rank test item seemed like it would make since, kinda sad it isnt true but easier to skill i guess. Lv 37 now which is nice :)

I now have two things to immediately disable when I load up a new game:
1-Motion Blur
2-DLSS5
I already know it will be as detrimental to my FPS as Denuvo is.

It's more valuable to get 5/5 AF+3 than relic+3 but I will not ever be unlocking dynamis divergance. Relic+3 is impossible to make and AF+3 is unwanted. It would have been nice to have the choice of either. okay but like you know this is not reflective of basically the entire population of the game, right?

I have done every fight, the spider f'in sucked to figure out lol but the fun is testing the mechanics and dying over and over.
What the heck do I do on this stupid rabbit haha, spoiler me away daddy. I actually found Wrathare fairly simple. The AoE spell will kill the adds and remove the shadows. He will always use Death after Dust cloud, so make sure your shadows are up.
Shadows can be removed with AOE. I used Fell Cleave for most of the AoE stuff. Make sure you dispel haste 2 and temper, because it will
absolutely destroy you.
Then just keep it steady. The adds should never hit you, without temper you should do enough damage before the doom count down. Remember to have shadows and stoneskin ready at all times, especially with Death.
I kept regen up, too, because it was a good substitute for healing.
The important ones are haste and temper because it will kill you quick with them on.

They didn't add relic+3 slip, it's AF+3 again)
This is way, way better. AF+3 5/5 sets are substantially more expensive than relic, so I much prefer an AF set being the reward here. Yay.

Who can do a new char with blue silks and chocobo rope, and then just rope so we can get an idea of how the rope is beneficial?

idk why radial feels the need to come here and post these things, he hasn't played in years
To be accurate I haven't played for 3 months (other than one account I keep for modding stuff). Limbus was crap and it made me unsub, I was thinking to come back for trusts but it's equally crap cause of implementation of the upgrade system so I'm not gonna bother.
I was waiting for this for a year, and it sucks.

I'm having trouble computing all permutations to answer your question. :(
So this is F, wind/thunder heals it. Sb > fudo = dist fudo > sb = nothing fudox2 makes light but there should be enough ws' going off that fudo shouldnt chain off itself. This should also apply if black halo is in rotation. So if impulse is a risk then just use fudo? Still at risk but less of one i guess? Though maybe im missing something obvious

I want to use a button/macro to make all characters use a panacea (or any item) what would the action be? If I do:
send @all /item panacea <me>
the arrows break the lua. I'm currently just making a script that uses a panacea and sendall-ing that script, but I imagine theres a better way.

Weeeeell, what can I say, this is righfully slowing down quite a bit. I was honestly hoping to reach 40ish a bit faster but I guess not.
