I wonder if there will be any +4 pieces that will change a previously useless piece by adding something useful to it. That would likely require individual adjustments to each piece, which would be great but I honestly doubt it's gonna happen because of the sheer amount of pieces that they would have to individually adjust (220 to be exact).
So... possible? Yes! Likely? Alas no.

Wondering if I can get a hand with my tp set. It works but it seems it is really slow at getting tp up there. Having a hard time self sc'ing even with haste 2.

I think RDM is probably the go-to job for soloing for anything that doesn't require a lot of gimmicks or the gimmick are magical. You simply just grind everything down.
Nin is when you really need to keep TP-feeding to a minimum without going all en-spell RDM or when you can juggle with being a sub-tank with trusts. Nin has a really hard time without trusts.
Dnc is like Nin but you trade a bit of TP-feeding and magical stuff for more healing powers.
Mnk isn't a solo job. It requires support. It sort of like the best low-man job you use to cheese through content because it can probably kill everything before they start to get nasty with TP feed.
There used to be a fair bit of PUP and BST soloing but I think they are too slow to kill anything worth while. You essentially just load your pet with maximum damage reduction and feeding them healing juice.

I suspect since you can use trusts in most content, people will "solo" with them, although sometimes I think people like the challenge otherwise. (or they die and you're stuck to finish the fight actually solo). Once you hit master level 40+ losing 100k xp dying is not really appealing to "see if you can".
That said:
DRG/mage is pretty good soloer (<10mp 1k+ cures). Of course there's 2 caveats: you need your HP to drop < 50% to do this and wyvern heals have a delay, so stuff that hits really hard (or can kill wyvern via AoE) is super dicey.
SCH and BLM:
nuke/kite works pretty well for both these, I think sch will have an easier time overall since helix can do a lot of dmg and you can SC pretty easily.
SMN/BST/PUP:
These work a lot of content. PUP and BST pets are both pretty hardy for a lot of content (although recasts can be killer if not). These are all great for avoiding certain mechanics of some fights (charm) or SMN for things that can criple anything in range since getting a new avatar is easy but you'll need space to get away and summon a new one.

The premier solo jobs right now are RDM & SCH. Both can solo various VD Ambuscades, VD Shinryu, VD Cloud of Darkness, Omen bosses, HELMs, etc. RDM can solo VD Odin, SCH can solo VD Lilith.
There's a pretty wide gap between those jobs and others in terms of maximum solo potential.

I'll start with some of my experiences and thoughts:
RDM
- I've been maining this for a while. Still don't have JSE+3 but I do have most JSE capes, JSE+2, malignance full set, naegling, thibron, crocea, m.level 30.
- I usually sub DNC or NIN for dual-wield.
- Self-haste already is a big reason that this job works so well. Otherwise, it has all the self buffs like temper, gain, enelement, beneficial spells, enfeebling spells (not always useful on every enemy but nice to have, Plouton for example doesn't benefit much from enfeebles besides Dia).
- It's let me survive things I shouldn't have, on the other hand I get outnumbered when multiple mobs get on me sometimes, I find it works best on solo targets (and I mean difficult mobs). The damage also isn't like my DDs like MNK so sometimes, survivable time isn't enough.
BLU
- I'll admit I'm still working on the JSE. I can see the potential with AOEing with this one, and being able to shift spells for most bosses.
- Has access to erratic flutter which fixes the haste part, and nature's meditation for attack buff.
- It funnily to me feels quite vulnerable compared to RDM, but that may also be because I haven't invested enough in it yet or aren't using enough defensive spells. Either way I hear people calling this one of the best solo jobs out there.
DNC
- I've mastered this to test, and I can say I see all the potential with the insane damage and skillchaining it can do. The debuff removals and utility is very nice, as well as the step debuffs. I'm not sure how far off it is from RDM, though obviously for fights needing debuffs and more magic, maybe RDM would win. I haven't also taken this to fights to test where there's real danger like with my RDM, though it's done a good job of zerging a few times better than my RDM for some difficult ambus I was trying with my friend.
- I use a tauret mainly, which is pretty strong, so I'm keen on getting a Twashtar quite soon to see how that runs for damage. I do need more gear, I have no JSE and I need more JSE capes.
- It's also a DW job so technically can wear DW gear to cover the lack of self-haste, though I don't think that's a consistently great idea since you lose out on better stats from better gear, still for the point of discussing solo jobs that's quite important to note.
NIN
- Working on mastering this now. Nextgames makes videos about this obviously, it seems like this can just about almost fight everything where shadows work fine. For soloing it also has DW like dancer so can use other pieces in place of magic haste, though still obviously it sacrifices better pieces.
- The damage hasn't felt great to me so far, but I've spoken to people about this and unlike WS spam or simple chains like BLU or RDM, NIN supposedly gets the most damage out of its SCing and MABing, especially with weapons like Heishi to help with it. So far I've been using Tauret instead of the Ambu Katana since Evisc spam works well for now, but I'm waiting to get Heishi to see how that is.
MNK
- Unfortunately this job has no self-haste, but I'm mentioning it here because it has helped me survive a few things with its HP and damage alone. I tried subbing DNC at times for a bit of speed, but honestly without some external haste it feels like it goes from one of the most capable jobs to just a RDM without any buffs with ayanmo gear hitting something.
BRD
- I haven't worked on BRD much yet, but I'm very keen to know what it can do. It can self-haste, but also buff itself, and with the 4 REMA I imagine quite well?
- Would be interested in hearing how capable BRD is even though it's a support job mainly. I remember going into an ambu with a BRD with my MNK, and I was surprised to see him decimating the boss solo while I was just doing pebble damage by the side with a DD job.

I know TP Gain is wild and stopping to use JA's really hurts that, so I dont see a lot of SAWS sets these days, presumably because you kinda just... don't I guess?
The only time I use SA+TA anymore is when I WS, unless I'm trying to proc TH. It's still your highest spike damage, not a dps loss. Now you can argue positioning is terrible to make it work all the time, but that's a different story.
I want to save my Muffins if I should just avoid building them.

Red would be my guess to complete the primary colors. I'd like to see purple or green but I think those are too close to blue and yellow for them to use. Black outline would be nice also.

After being reccomended the n-th video bashing on Oshi no Ko, Ive decided to break my own rules of only reading completed stories and take a look on this manga.
Because Im genuinely curious if the story is really that bad or if it is just those zoomers being noisy.
And honestly, after three chapters, Im still not sure what this story is about. Feels like we are still being presented to the overall context.
not saying it is good or bad, but this story really started off differently of the rest.
15 chapters read. Personally I dislike stories about show business, idols and dafuq.
The story also had some supernatural themes that I feel like unnecessary and that loosen a bit the seriousness of the story.
Still, so far, pretty interesting story. The author made a wonderful work in world building, spending 10 chapters to tell the context, what I think pretty courageous, as nowadays kids can only wait half a page to get hooked.
The cast is pretty likeable too. I can see each one of the main cast with one or two qualities that makes me feel interested.
Im still looking forward to see where is the controversy of this. Im really enjoying looking forward to know if I will be betrayed and join the haters side, or if I will stand in defending the story.
28 chapters read, this is becoming less intereting for my tastes because it is going to a shonen and idol route, both troupes that I dont empathize with it anymore, but nothing to objectively complain about the series.
After this much and still not seeing what makes this story controversial, I remembered the title name. IDK if this is related or not with the actual story, but if it does, damn, the mangaka is surely taking his sweet time to build up the story.

Another question if anyone can help
Currently the codes for equipping sets.kiting
Code function customize_idle_set(idleSet)

It does its job when kiting is toggled on, however the set.kiting persists when I am engaged, how would I make it auto unequip set.kiting upon engaged?
I tried adding a player.status ~= engaged line to the if, but does not seem to work.

let his ideas stand on their own merits like anyone else. yes it turns out there was very little actual substance to the strategy, as many have shown, but don't shoot the guy down based on the language barrier alone.
the newest pld job guide here comes to mind. the author got quite a lot of feedback and criticism for the information in the guide, and I believe went on to fix a significant portion of it to make corrections. everyone should get that chance.
I couldn't catch my breath with the massive amount of unjustified attacks and hostility, I just added the information briefly, I didn't take my time to add many additions and add details of the initial information
