I've mentioned this before, but Matsui described Fujito as "ambition". Could have been PR, but that's a weird description for someone who was supposed to oversee the game going into maintenance mode.

A couple years later, Fujito reveals in an interview that SE was wanting to put the game into maintenance mode at the end of 2024, and he had to pull some shenanigans with the adventurer's survey to convince SE not to shut it down.

Despite all of Fujito's missteps, I'm just happy FFXI isn't in maintenance mode.

Yea sorry. I had just finished watching the mogivana and didn't read the forum about it yet. I was just adding the revealed info here. I haven't had time to do Limbus for over a month now due to work and limited free time so I can't add to that side of things :(

Having the earring augments be a set bonus when equipping the prime weapon would open up a lot of possibilities and might've resulted in a wider selection of jobs on some of the primes.

I'm looking at some of my recent Apollyon logs (my Temenos logs are unreliable because I started opening chests in different towers out of curiosity and it didn't show up in my logs) and from what I can see, if you get 5k units in a chest, it's not possible to get 5k again in that tower. The 5k/guaranteed matter would have to be in one of the other three towers. Anybody seeing something similar?

C and G should be good. I’ve never tried but it’s probably decent on A and E if Kagero is anything to go by.

Which bosses is COR having a good time with Hot Shot on in Sortie?

I'm assuming just C/G, but does it work well on any of the others? I keep seeing people say it's good in Sortie but I don't know about it.

Looks that way, yeah. Hopefully those will get put on slip 31 in the November or December update too, but... well, we're still waiting for the esthete's set from Voracious Resurgence to get a storage option, so...

I think by "storage space", he means inventory. There's still tons of room to put more stuff on storage slip 31 before it starts to get as bulky as several other existing slips.

Regarding the trove items:

- TH ring’s effect stat is only effective as THF main. TH+2 is all jobs.
- DA item makes all attacks DA for the duration, it is not a one attack and done item. Also applies to WS. Gil is deducted for every DA during the duration.
- Double confirming the BP on the mastery rank earring refers to all stats. It scales with your mastery rank.

Yeah, that's an accurate description of Sortie as it stands. The only argument I'm making is that Sortie would be better if earrings were a real part of the content and not an incidental bonus.
