From the Ralph Lauren fall collection.

One question: Does it come in RED?

One more: Where's the hat?

Appreciate you going out to test, that looks promising!

I'll offer myself as case sample. My ls did smn conduit for our early aeonic runs, I got my Marsyas via cor.

My ls formed sortie group also ran 8boss mage strat, and again I used cor to make my stage4 horn.

My brd never saw the light of day until recently after having all remas finished. I don't even know the singing days before aria ;)

Is there a way to mod the color of the hp/mp bars on the party list & on the top left when engaged? I was thinking it would be nice if the MP bar could be anything other than yellow on greyish white, green would be nice to match the refresh color of the custom UI. Anyone know what dat file that even is in?

Thank you Dodik for being the voice of reason in the room!

You have the same ROM in an XIPivot directory and it's overriding it.

Or you have a plugin loaded that changes nameplates.

I used no food, or a rusk. I'd rather have more HQs because the t2-3 spheres are much more valuable than the garbage t1s which you end up with way too many of.

57% seems fine, honestly a bit higher than i would've expected. The success rates are terrible.

I switched to macarons early on in my desynths because the hq rate was still very high, but a lot more breaks with rusks. I didnt notice a drop off in hq synths when I switched, but I noticed quite a bit less breaks. I dont have any concrete data on hq vs nq with each food, just the ol eyeball test. I did end up with a lot of t1s tho as you stated, which I did use some and sell others.

Been doing some messing around with it in Apollyon but it's a bit hard to get realistic numbers because most of the mobs are resistant to or weak to piercing so it's a little wonky. I also messed up my buffs a bit.

I'd say 20~25k is a pretty reasonable expectation, with solid buffs, on a neutral target. Having constant SC with a good (decent) WS makes it much better.

I was wondering if anyone ran into an issue with the nameplates not changing when applying the dat mod but all of the other ui aspects changing. Any possible reasons I may not be considering?
By Garfield on 2025-08-24 06:49:37
I only 2box, little more limited in options.

I never stated I wanted to ws spam without sc, quite the opposite, I'm asking about prime damage because of how easy they are to 3step. If my brd stays naegling, sword has savage> burning blade > flat blade > savage, utilizing 2 ***DMG ws I might as well just do 4 savages.

I've even tried sch+geo doing oshala > helix and double burst, usually kills 130mobs unless they are heavily magic resistant like the one floor in apollyon. But that's exhausting to maintain and doesn't work on certain mobs id have to avoid or job change, so it's not practical.

You gave me a dagger 4step, but considering my only dagger pre-prime will be my non-aftergow'd carn, I don't expect much, I'll do a test run of it tho.

For kicks let's speculate, if ruthless did even 25k full buffed am3. And iirc the dt in limbus also affects sc DMG so, 25k + 25k + 20k fusion + 25k ws + 50k light would be 145k DMG combined.

To compare, I said my savage does ~35k, 4 savages would be 140k. So prime would reduce 1 ws and allow me to keep my 2box geo, which then could potentially burst if the mob still doesn't die. Thus improving my efficiency at soloing Limbus.

But, idk if ruthless would do 25k in Limbus, so I was asking anyone with experience if they had the answer. I am no where close to making even stage 3, I think my brd has 300k gally? I forget offhand. But my current next stage 3 is going to be dagger, and I'm deciding to take it to stage 4 or skip and move onto prime axe for BST.

Violent Flourish is the best use for them on DNC. We gained a ton of MAcc/Acc for it with that release. I keep meaning to run around seeing what I can stun but haven't gotten it done yet.

I probably shouldn't but I still am.
Been slowly replacing it with Gleti in most (but not all) of my sets.

I'm lazy!

Not even remotely true. Heishi does 99k every few seconds.

Sure. When you can use Chi or To on an enemy specifically weak to that.

Also, if you're doing a best weapons list, why would you not include primes?

Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »

If you're including primes, then daurdabla and gjallar are ***-tier. If you're not including primes then there's absolutely no universe where gjallarhorn is C tier, you sir are high as ***.

So if Ghorn os bad when you include primes (assume F-tier), but good when you don't (assume A or S), then overall would it not make sense tonput it somewhere in the middle? C-tier.

Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »
You're free to rank things with whatever off the wall scale you can think of, but saying calad isn't good because you wanna play WAR is a wild way to rank weapons, IMO.

I didn't say Caladbolg isn't good. I said:
mhomho said: »
Would you put Caladbolg in S or A? Caladbolg Drk is really good, no? But Wat is maybe a better day job so Chango goes up in value because war isn't on Caladbolg, but it is on Helheim. So is greatsword War better with Helheim?

So you didn't answer he question. Would you put Caladbolg in S or A?
Where would you put Helheim in the rankings? If Helheim is S. Is Caladbolg also S to you? When you overbloat the S tier it loses it's meaning. It's not because I wanna play greatswodd War over Drk because there's some specific fights where you need Drk to mitigate TP feed to the enemy, no? So maybe in one or two fights Drk outshines War, but overall which weapon are you getting the most bang for your buck. Which has the greatest effective value.
Your average weapon is C-tier. Not A-tier.
You get too emotional and make no rankings. You just say a blanket statement like all Aeonics should be A-tier and I'm like, really? even Staff and Club? That's why I can't take you as seriously objective.

Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »
As an aside: you can absolutely make a loughnashade without ever making a daurdabla or a gjallarhorn. Bring another job to sortie.
But that's not the point of the argument. That's why when you're like, but you can just an Aeonic. You could pay a merc to do most content for you. That defeats the purpose. It's not just what do you need to get it. It's how useful is it to the job as a whole in relation to things like acquisition method in relation time, cost investment, and overall how useful or powerful it is for the job. Six months for an Ergon seems long at first as you have to get Legend in every Coalition, but how long is it to makena Prime? A year? What do you during that interim? Your answer is play other jobs. Truth be told, that's not the right answer because the question is: which weapon is the best; not, how do you jerk off? The reason to consider or call it the interim is because the option never falls off the table. It's not: Daurdabla or Loughnashade (like if you pick one you miss out on the other because a completionist will have all of them). It's, how would you rate them, Daurdabla and Loughnashade in relation to all of the PREMA weapons?
How is Heishi compared to Dokuku? Now compare Heishi to Masamune, Doji, Calad, and Chango?
You're so quick to criticize my evaluation. Share yours. Rank them all in relation to one another.
Do you include Bonanza weapons?

Like sure. Yagyu Darkblade is a cute parlor trick. Fudo Masamune Yagyu Darkblade is a fun tank stance. Does it completely change Nin the same way Epeolatry helps out Run? I don't think so. I'd put Yagyu at C-tier. Maybe B-tier.

But it's kinda hard when you're in a PUG (or even with friends...) and everybody keeps on engaging your target and spamming Savage Blade or whatever else ruining your awesome chance to two-shot or three-shot targets thanks to SC damage...

I agree with what you're saying as well and considered that but...this guy's 3-boxing by himself so he should focus on making a SC with himself (and maybe magic bursting it too!).

If you're doing Limbus in a party of 6...***'s gonna die so fast it doesn't matter WTF you do.

I think you should really consider SC properties a lot more in a limbus situation.
I couldn't agree more!

What I'm trying to say is: I strongly support Maletaru's point on SC damage, but it's not always something you can rely on, sadly.

Here ran out to limbus to see how far over cap I'm at this was with trust buffs and a brd without aria. So that's more than 30k to spare over cap against a normal mob. Probably goes a bit higher only did a few but I think this demonstrates you don't need qutrubs to cap damage with shining one.

Cherry picking numbers isn't really going to win you this argument. We all know how strong shining one is, and we're all aware of what dragoon can do with a lance. The simple fact is that the math favors Gae Buide by a considerable margin. More than enough to put its damage output well ahead of shining one. Diarmuid is ridiculously good. And posting "But look at my numbers with XYZ" isn't going to change that. I can post numbers with "XYZ" "ABC" or "LOP" too you know.

Nobody is saying that shining one is suddenly weak. It's always been in the same category as naegling. Naegling just takes the spotlight because it has 3 times more jobs on it, support jobs included. But the prime weapons do surpass ambuscade weapons, and turning your head to look the other way just because you don't have one yet won't make that not be true.
First I never said Shining one was better... you're the one deleting what I quoted of maletaru saying that I needed qutrubs to cap shining one damage so that you could say no one is saying shining one is bad, maletaru was saying that and that's what I was responding to.

What I was trying to argue (I guess poorly) is the prime lance doesn't seem like a huge outlier as far as primes go once you compare it to what DRG can do with other polearms like shining one, DRG just generally hits like a truck no matter what. Now somehow that has turned into I think Primes are bad because I defended that Shining one is good?

BUT you replied with the following face:

I can see the argument either way, but I personally use null shawl for my TP set. I don't use any of the rest but they could work in a step set if you're doing that (I don't bother).

Belt for idle regen if you're into that kinda thing
By silvanesti on 2025-08-24 01:55:26
Do any of the null pieces find a permanent spot in any of dnc's sets? Or only as situational acc swaps? I guess good to own, to have options when building your sets.
