I know you said solo and mentioned other members interrupting your SCs, but have to ask ; are you using trusts that WS/SC with you, or purely support trusts?
Yeah, this is a potential concern. For Limbus, since I'm stuck with 3 trusts, I usually use Sylvie, Monberaux, and Arciela, none of them interrupt me. For other content, I like to use King of Hearts and Qultada, and yeah, sometimes Qultada can get in the way. He doesn't build TP nearly as fast as me, so it's usually not a big concern, but something to be mindful of.
He for sure means self SC with 3 x Imperator killing a mob. With stronger buffs 3x Expiacion also kill a mob in Limbus, so Tizona is faster, 3 x imperator with high buff will overkill a mob in limbus with darkness damage doing much more than required to kill, but just 2x Imperator has no chance to kill it, unless maybe on some mob which takes extra damage from dark or earth. In low buff scenario I can see 3x Imperator killing a mob in limbus with SC damage and 3x Expiacion not being enough with undercappef attack.
Yes, exactly this.

It's there, you're already doing it
You're choosing to spend time doing Ambu and not doing other things.
Which is the entire point. You're spending a currency, which is your time.
If you had a better gil making thing to do, would you not do that? Would that not then change what you think a +2 is worth?

People ***on 2049 before it's out. People ***on the OG film and said the book is better. Even the writer of the book trashed Ridley Scott's film for quite some time because he didn't like the film direction, then he changed his opinion in the end. I am a HUGE P. K. *** fan. I read the book long before the movie came out. I liked the movie and I understand just why *** trashed the movie.
1, The movie took vast liberties with his plot.
2, The movie had a hero. P. K. ***'s works rarely have have heroes.
3, The name of the book is "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" The name, Bladerunner, was bought from an Alan E. Nourse book.
I also understand why he came around to liking the movie.
While the move did rewrite much of the plot it stayed true to his vision and the questions proposed in the book. None of those questions were the title question BTW.
IMHO the movie was much more accessible* than the book. ***'s books and even his short stories can be heavy reading.
*in the literary meaning.

This thread has convinced me to buy a GEO neck +2 for my mule and augment it at some point, so it wasn't entirely a waste of words.

Maybe specifically in the case of Drg it's good, but in relation to all the jobs, I'd say there are other DD's I'd rather bring like Drk, War, Sam, Rng, and mages.
Here we go again... again? Do you want to tier weapons or jobs? Where would you want to bring war Sam rng and drk over drg and why?

If you're an idris geo and that club don't glow green, you my friend are a gimp.
"But it's not woooorth it", the poor gimp says.
It's like the best DPS option as GEO for TP Gain. I'm R15ing that ***. Especially with all the effort I'm putting into making it.
Plus it will make a sweet lock style for my Daybreak on RDM.

When a luopan absorbs damage, is it the unmitigated amount or after mitigation?
It's unmitigated, so gets a large chunk of HP back if not a full heal just due to how little HP loupan has

So, I have the stage 5 Caliburnus and I use it relatively often on my BLU. I can't speak for fully-buffed numbers in Limbus because almost all of my runs in there have been solo with trusts. I do, however, prefer my Caliburnus in Limbus over both Tizona and Naegling, and can consistently kill enemies in about 1 fewer weaponskill. I wouldn't say that the PDL+ helps much at all, all of the benefit is due to the skillchain properties. Basically, Caliburnus is useful as a solo weapon. Once there are other party members weaponskilling the same mob interrupting your skillchain, you're better off using something else.
From sims* and parses (exact numbers are dependent on buffs, attack cap, enemy stats, and TP thresholds), Expiacion falls behind Savage Blade by ~7%, and Imperator falls behind Savage Blade by ~15%. Expiacion makes up for that damage difference with Tizona's AM3 for content where that makes sense to keep up, and Imperator makes up for the damage difference if you can consistently and reliably 3-step skillchain.
*(I understand that the Imperator numbers on the wiki are wrong, so have resorted to parses for those numbers. The estimated numbers that Simon posted recently more reliably reflect what I see in game)
Any prime weapon requires a LOT of time and effort to make. Despite the fact that I actually use my Caliburnus pretty often, I wouldn't really recommend it. The meta for almost all content these days is for 4-6 players in the party to constantly spam weaponskills on the mob, ignoring the skillchain mechanic completely. Caliburnus is not a good option for that (unless there's a weaponskill wall and Savage Blade, Expiacion, and Black Halo are all 'taken' for some reason...). However, if you like to do a lot of content solo on either BLU or RDM, and you love those jobs enough to spend 6+ months building a relatively niche weapon for them, then by all means, it actually comes in handy sometimes.

Drg polearm is S-tier? Oh jesus. . .
Maybe specifically in the case of Drg it's good, but in relation to all the jobs, I'd say there are other DD's I'd rather bring like Drk, War, Sam, Rng, and mages.
I'd put Gay Build at B or A tier. I know you said specifically in relation to Drg, but the tierlist is all the weapons across all the jobs and that includes what the job brings to the table versus what jobs can even wield the weapon to begin with.
Specifically with relation to Gay Build?
S-tier:
Gay Build
A-tier:
Ryunohige
Trishula
B-tier:
Shining One
C-tier:
Gugnir
In relation to all weapons all jobs?
B-tier Gay Build
C-tier Ryu and Trish
D-tier Shining one
F-tier Gugnir

I would say daurdsbla is D if you make stage 5 prime. It's basically a Shining One when you get Gea Buide. How would you rank Shining One on DRG specifically if you had Gea Buide as S tier?

How on earth is a bard without both Gjallarhorn and Daurdabla doing enough Sortie and enough HQ Aminon kills to farm a prime horn.
Are we imagining these things in a vacuum or something.
It's like a bard that wants to be main bard to get a Marsyas without either a Gjallar or Daurdable (preferably both).
The progression is there and assumes you already have all the previously good stuff before farming all the better stuff.
Yes, you can farm them on another job. If you want to be the bard though when farming a prime, you need aeonic, relic and empy REMAs for bard. Not optional. Ideally mythic too.
OK, so they are required to be used temporary. Doesn't make them S tier, because then everything you wore before you get best stuff was S tier, because it was temporary bis :)
S-tier:
Loughnashade
A-tier:
Daurdabla

If you don't like the way the rankings were done here, and you feel this passionate about it, then why don't you make your own thread centered around how you want the comparisons to be instead of arguing here?
That's not how discussions work. That's how narratives are driven. A discussion is not the same as creating a narrative. If your discussion crumbles at the first sign of a dissenting opinion, then it was never a discussion. It was a circle jerk. Why even make a thread if you aren't open to criticism? You even had votes for the individual tier lists. Why is that so much harder than making one list for users to vote on unless you have alterior motives. The individual job threads speak more to the effectiveness of each individual weapon with relation to the job that uses them. The premise isn't what's your favorite job or which weapon do you think is the coolest. It's which is the best?
The same argument you make to me can be said to you. If you don't like it, then leave.
I'm enjoying the discussion. Why would I leave?

Seems as though they've decided not to make a second season of original sin, despite it being fantastic.
Not financial reasons, but they would rather focus on Dexter sequel, than prequel.

Quote it out and make that argument then.
You not argreeing with an individual rating doesn't mean my argument has changed drastically or that I'm flip-flopping. It means people are trying to derail or misrepresent my argument.
Let's do a reading comprehension test. What was the crux of my initial argument? I'll give you a hint:
How are you gunna have a weapon tierlist and then segregate them by aquisition method. I get wanting to compare apples to apples, but if I'm making a weapon tierlist it's going to just be all of them on one list against eachother.
All of the weapons. One list. How do you rate them. You guys are over here like all Aeonics are A-tier. There's no way Khatvanga is A-tier.
I get you guys hate me and can never concede a point to me because of your pride. One game. One tierlist. How would you rank them? None of you have answered that. You've only tried to belittle me for having opinions.

Gearing geo
Calculator doesn't have an option for flash nova
Someone said it was similar to another weaponskill but I can't find the post
Was it Seraph Strike?
Also that occult set is a cool idea totally copying that.
As well as the TP set with pet out
Haven't even had a chance to play geo yet but does the lupon lose health overtime on its own, not getting hit?
If I am just xping can I get away with a more lax tp set?
