Necro Bump again, this just happened to me on June 9th update 2025

After reviewing the new gear, the weekly cap on points doesn't sting so much.

Not that it's terribly relevant but, nope. MNK head got 5 DEX, 5 AGI, 3 MND. Also meva etc.

PLD relic legs got +15 evasion and +40 magic evasion which is pretty nice.

Lots of stuff got little bits of like accuracy and evasion. Hoping maybe when they release NMs and go to +5 some of this stuff will get better cos man it's pretty underwhelming atm.

I guess if content level 130 limbus is supposed to be the gear stage pre-Ody/Sortie/Empyrean+2&3 then maybe the higher content level limbus will come with gear that actually rivals some of the Odyssey and Sortie gear?

The relic gloves got +57 Pet M.ACC added to them with the skill + I believe that makes them the best pet m.acc piece for SMN. Not that it's very useful...but that's the only thing I see.

relic smn gear never was

Maybe someone will correct me, but none of the SMN gear seems like it's worth much of anything.

I'm excited for this since I never beat it. I loved strategy games like this (Vandal Hearts, Kartia, Front Mission, Ogre Battle etc.) and felt it was such an underrated genre. Now they just need to remake Xenogears and I'll finally beat the games I didn't get to!

Not that a ton of things are resisting a maxed out BRD in the first place, but BRD gains 40+ macc from upgrading their AF, probably a fair bit more than that.

RDM is already using like 9 pieces of their AF/relic in their BiS sets, so they just gained a ton of macc, some skill, some FC, plus having more meva in those sets.

BRD relic body was BiS for some WS, it's now even more BiS, and a huge help for people without Nyame R30 (or 25, or 20).

There's a lot of extremely good gear here and the whole thread is people hatebombing the fact that they didn't overhaul the shitty pieces. I guess that's how you roll in internet upvotes, just go along with the crowd.
