Discussion over at the Whm forum has me wondering - does debuff specific magic evasion work the same way as elemental magic evasion does wrt opening up the 1/8th resist tier?
Specifically, if you say take off carrier's sash that has dark resist on it and wear an augmented Arete del Luna +1 with "Resist Sleep" +15 on it, does the resist sleep on its own give you a 1/8th resist tier on sleep, or do you still need dark elemental resistance from somewhere else. |

edit: also you mentioned "flee hacks", but i really wonder why people seriously don't use Hippomenes Socks +1. The proc rate is very high when getting hit by multiple monsters, and pairs nicely with Minne or Mambo for Evasion/DEF builds on BRD or BLU.
That's a good tip, and I'll admit to overlooking those. Gonna change that, thanks Buukki!
One little question: I understand the flee proc can still trigger if attacks are evaded or do no damage due to effects like Stoneskin, but can it also proc if attacks are absorbed by Utsusemi? (I'm guessing yes, but would be nice to confirm) |

Fluid spread/toss is physical damage and needs to be respected especially on the 4th floor. The old barwater helps myth is a long-established tale from the first whitemages in Vanadiel.

On a related tangent barwater does help against Torrent but possibly not Rising Swell. Both TP moves are my PLD's archenemies on 2nd floor triple pull. I no longer ever see full equipment removal just shield removal very rarely.

Considering they made it 800 per dye for Stat+1 when it was 100 per thread for Stat+1, and also limited the number of Dye / month to deviate from the previous standard of "can get enough supplies to make 3 full capes per month", expect some ***like this

Just implement some of the alluvion skirmish augment or Oseem augment code into more NMs
tbh i was hoping this is where they were gonna go with peculiar foes.
modernizing the evolith system to make it on par with augments could really spice things up. make evoliths drop at a low rate from literally all content we're already grinding and scale with the difficulty of the content. they could make em tradeable/sellable. so many options. |

Opened a 5k chest for the first time in a very long time today, I had accidently missed one of the keys and had to go back so opened a different wing's chest than I always do.
Still random since only one character got it but its been a very long time since I've seen a 5k chest so thought it was interesting that it happened on a run that was a little different.
