Did I hear someone calling "Farming stuff from Solo VD Shinryu" as "enjoyable"?
I mean, to each his own of course, it's all a matter of subjective tastes and prefereces and I can totally see how tackling Shinryu VD solo and slowly seeing your performance improve can totally be an exhilarating experience.
...for the first weeks? Months even?
But calling it "enjoyable" after years of excruciating farming without even getting what you want sounds like borderline masochistical to me.
I mean, I don't wanna sound judgemental but... yeah.

Who's sick of doing climbs already. I don't mind them, but it'd be more tolerable if a certain warp assistance didn't keep breaking for me.
ashita doesn't have one and porting up all my guys every floor is the worst... i still enjoy the event and dont mind doing it tho but rly hoping phase3 is a bit better in terms of effort:reward... the odyssey analogy gives me some hope tho |

Just to make it clear: I'm not desperate.
I'm just anoyed by the upgrade path of the new gear.
After 21 years in ffxi soloing seems to be the only challenge left.
New Limbus... having to force my self into doing it for months just because I need that earring is a nightmare. And yes, I need that earring... like everyone here does.
I do Shinryu VD solos since 3 years and got almost every drop... besides the drop i want. But its actually enjoyable. Limbus is just anoying. Lag, Spells dont go off for whatever reason... Limbus feels like you fight the game, not some monsters.

Are you playing at 60fps? always breaks for me in sortie unless I'm running at 30fps and then it never has issues.

I killed a NM Temenos Quadav in North 1 and it didn't drop sparkles.
It kept checking ITG after aggro and didn't seem like it had special stats.
some one else on my server said they had the same issue in temenos twice |

Open windower launcher, hit the pencil icon, turn on hardware mouse. This will give you the proper mouse pointer and not the dinky one. Radial lives!!!! WB!! |

I just got my 3rd matter in Temenos and traded the earring and the matter to the furnace and it said in the chat log requirement to upgrade will be one alabaster matter and the earring and 750 units. Once I did all that it literally did nothing to the earring. I’am still at 1600 rp till lvl 2. What did I do wrong?
