I think it's safe to establish 12-15mins traversal time per tower without looking at something like central
regardless of lvl and kill time
Alliance and high level 135 go very well for both opening chests and getting rewards and some exemplar
Ideal method
119 fantastic for speed running chests
60points a floor
No exemplar
Very safe can pull everything
I'd love to find an iLVL where I can feel the speed of 119 kills which is roughly 2ws + sc
When I can't group up so I can at least maximize the points for the time spent

People who grinded all their points via botting are now realizing their 30k cap is gonna be an issue.

Guys you can always worry about the points later because you don't have to spend the item right away.
Goal should be the 5 chest per week by any means.

That is the kicker to all of this. The % chance of 3k vs. 5k and apparently now there is a % for matter or no matter. (I also read that 100% for first timers only. If at each conquest tally, then cool!) SE just needs to drop this % game for Limbus, given how grindy it is. BUT, I actually don't care either way, since I enjoy the climbs. /shock

Attowa is a no go during the campaign for abbysea
You're joking, right? I mean, I'd buy that if you were on Asura or something, but I spent two whole days in Attohwa last week and saw four other people zone in, only one of whom ever appeared near the Itzpapalotl farming gauntlet.

I just did this and al lot of this probably has been said
I completely skipped glavoid so I can't really offer my opinion on the experience however I appreciate people saying their experience with gold chests that was something I was going to try.
For attowa I got stuck between miasmas and eventually gave up doing anything but gold chests
I used chicos with capped gold and 128 azure since it took a while for me to build lights.
Tunga let's you default on that ki at least
And it's close by to the actual pop
I dboxed as many tiger king Hides as possible from the AH
And if I had 5mins to zone in.
This was a pain point for this zone as the other items act as a rotation while you wait for a respawn
Attowa is a no go during the campaign for abbysea
For Attowah you can buy Miasmal whatevers to make it go away.
I think I did all Itz scales in 2.5 stacks of them.

It's just getting more matter. The first murky and alabaset matter is 100% drop after each conquest tally, then it's just luck if you get more on your subsequent 4 runs that week. First matter gets you the base item. The next 30 matters raise the rank by 1 level each.
Are you sure? I hope you're right but I thought the drop was only guaranteed once based on the update notes. Maybe I'm misreading it or it's translated in a weird way but the "not affected by the treasure chest reset when the conquest results are tabulated" statement makes it sound like a one-time thing to me:
Characters that have never acquired Alabaster Matter or Murky Matter are guaranteed to acquire them the first time they unlock the content*.
* This only applies once per character and is not affected by the treasure chest reset when the conquest results are tabulated.

XI players: "this grind sucks and I'm running out of things to spend my units on"
Also XI players: "omg the units costs of these upgrades is so high"

I dont think a massively multiplayer online role playing game is for you then. yeah. Your life must be very uncomplicated. I kinda envy people that can only think black and white...

R30 Gleti's will generally beat Malignance when mythic AM3 isn't active. However, if you're switching away from the Malignance Tights, make sure your haste needs are met elsewhere.
This is for non-Tizona and I'm using Lehko's, others might have to use Salfi which seems to be very close to windbuffet. You were talking about the legs or body?

You got it.

To further elaborate: you do need points. A total of ~650k following the table posted on previous page.
But to spend the points you need a matter too.
Basically for each rank up you need one matter AND the points necessary to reach next level.

I'm unclear on the augment process. Not sure if I missed something reading here or not.
You get an item w/ Murky matter or Alabastor matter then you use a 2nd Matter item to do the augment.
Is the augment potency just getting more matter? or can you spend Apollyon units/Temenos units to affect the potency of the upgrade?

How do people feel about Malignance Body vs R30 Gleti's and Malignance legs vs R30 Gleti's legs? Pretty big STP vs Multi-Attack tradeoffs there.

Completely forgot pre-pops can come in small chests too, that opens up a lot of routes such as the ones some of you mentioned. I might test some of this out, thanks so far!

For Glavoid, I preferred to straight farm it on WAR/NIN with all red procs covered and TH4 from gear. Center around keeping the respawn timers of Adze and the worm NM rolling. Otherwise, farm up the pops, pop the NMs, proc as needed, proc the NMs, Glavoid, and repeat.
For Itzpopalotl I also straight farmed on WAR/NIN. It felt like pure torture running all the way back to the start to warp over a little stone barrier, and the chigoe NM is also a little frustrating to proc owing to Chainspell if it takes a while. If I ever do a Twashtar I'll be trying the KI gold box farm for sure.
For Orthrus, I waited until there was no Abyssea campaign active and did a small gold box farm on (you guessed it) WAR/NIN using Xoanan and Cataclysm. Kill using only Cata or auto-attacks, aiming to cap Pearlescent and get Amber to 48. Once Amber's at that threshold, you can start farming in earnest. I mainly auto-attacked things down one by one to preserve lights, and it was basically small gold chests the whole time until Ebon light began to build. As described above, if I got a King Hide I'd drop it into the recycling bin pool and keep popping chests til I had a few in there I could juggle. I remember cleaving with Cata, I'm thinking it was the tigers but I could swear there was something in that area that didn't accumulate Amber light so I kept doing this between hunting the tiger NM.

Personally I pay YT Premium so I do have ads.
My only worry is if content creators starts adding more and more content in their membership plan.
While the membership itself isnt big of a deal, it is pretty much not viable having membership for multiple channels without any commotment of content production from youtubers. Also, I favor diversity and not a single one channel.
Honestly Im not 100% believing this is the problem. I do think the major issue here is the "AI filtering" everyone is dosucssing lately.
In the future, either they release a better adblocker that also adds to the views, or Youtube endorse their own controls to annul adblock (so that adblockers also evolve in the usual cat and rat battle).
The worst is dropping the consequences of this battle in the content creators, that really have little to do for protection, and everything to lose

I take a more focused approach. No light or box farm, just enter on NIN/WAR for procs then job change to THF for the main NM. Farming TE is redundant with so many traverser stones and travel makes it easy enough that you can get in and out without missing timed NM respawns.

Watch the ad, the adman says.
No.
|
|
 |
|
|
But now this is interesting: Youtube not considering views from videos viewers are blocking ads seems only reasonable from a company PoV.
But the content creators can do nothing against that: they cant prevent people from using adblock.
If this is true, maybe in the future they will invest more in membership comtent, what will hurt everyone in return, in a sad vicious cycle.
Dark times

Now it is the bill, you AdBlockers: you are hurting community!
Watch the damn ad!

Tech issues:
If you notice the cursor in the game is a small white arrow when installing this mod, make sure you have hardware mouse turned on in the FFXI config program or in the windower config (windower config via the pencil icon on the laucnher overrides xi config/registry). This provides the normal proper pointer arrow.
If you notice buff icons are not showing, but everything else is. Goto config on FFXI, then misc and pick icon type 2.
If you notice the chat font is blurred a little, this is because of DGVoodoo and the anti-aliasing setting in it, is being applied to the font sheet. Alter the settings for that in dgvoodoo.
