OI m8, u got a loicence to look dem piccies on imgur?
>picture of a cop with a truncheon smashin you on the noggin
What kind of "censored word" "well run country" allows "highly civilized engineers and doctors" to flood in and "grief" "low level characters", doing literally nothing to stop them for 20 years and then have the "censored word" nerve to stop normal people using imgur and other websites under the guise of protecting "low level characters".
That's what a "censored word" "party enjoyment professional that wears makeup and a red nose" would come up with, "censored word" "completely normal and fully functional person"
whoever is behind this bs needs a "firm handshake"
"censored word" "horse manure" is getting on my "general chest area"

Most anyone that's been doing Limbus for matters already has most their +4 and are sitting on points just waiting for matters to drop so they can upgrade. Q_Q
Well tbf I'm done with Apollyon, still need a lot in Temenos, but I can see how I'm in the minority (not a lot of people have 16 mantained jobs on the same character, after all).
I can see what you mean, you're right. It might not even stop at 140 for all we know.
Granted that... we're gonna reach a point where the additional Points you get won't be worth the additional time?
Not necessarily but potentially?
The kill speed difference from 130>135 was somewhat noticeable. The required acc too.
(conversely, I didn't notice a particularly high increase in the damage THEY do on us when they hit us, which is good I guess)
If the 135-140 is anything like the previous one was, you're gonna have to rely on very specific and different party compositions.
That would slowly start to kill the "relaxed" feeling we currently had in Limbus which was refreshing to me, then again not "necessary".
Either way, they HAVE to do something about all of this. Hopefully something will come in the november patch because I'm pretty confident nothing will happen about it in the October one >_>

It's funny because IIRC the instance's queuing system already shows you parties in queue globally across all servers right?
Would it be a big change to allow people across servers to connect to the same instance?
I guess things like linkshells, unity chat and across-server functionality would have to be disabled or otherwise managed, but technically it should be feasible.

This entire thread could have been avoided if you had come to the place where the people who actually know how windower actually works are - the windower discord.
Do that, we'll help you troubleshoot this. Link is on the windower website.

Sortie is particularly well suited to something like this, since all rewards are personal rewards - either points or direct drops. Just disable trades and bazaar while inside the "global instance", and you're good.

I don't remember tbh, doing that was so painful I had to unsub for a few months just to rehab enough so I never want to Aby seal farm again. It was probably blm/brd.
No game should force its players to do ***like that.

meanwhile i've seen plenty of phalanx+3~5 but ive yet to see a single WSD over 6 or refresh above 1

I do not believe refresh +2 is equally as probable as +1 That's a possibility, that not all possible ranks have the same chance to be extracted by the randomizer.
I think it might be like that in some augment systems (Alluvion Skirmish?), not sure if this is the case for DM or Oseem in general.
I think it would be hard to verify but I don't see why not.
PERSONALLY I've seen so many Refresh+2 and TH+2, definitely not noticeably less than +1, could've been even higher to be fair.
But here we're talking about "just" two values so that could be the culprit skewing the results.

Me chasing that Phalanx+5 herc boots:
I think the augments you get use global variables, not local or player-dependent ones (like PSO and old games like that), right?
I've only missed a single DM campaign and a few days here and there since the release, and to me Phalanx has been the most rare augment to appear by far*
By comparison WSD is still somewhat rare but I've seen it waaaaaay more times than Phalanx (seen it go above 5% only once though, with a fat 7%).
I've seen a whooooole lot of TH and Refresh though, even with the max value of +2. Some people seem to be chasing them and I've seen more than I want to remember.
Altough... the Refresh/TH table only has 2 values, 1 and 2. So WHEN you get it, chances you get the capped value are very high (50%?), whereas with tables like Phalanx (5 values) or WSD (10 values) of course it's gonna be more rare to see the max value.
I can't entirely complain btw. On the 4 pieces where I'm hunting for Phalanx I managed to get 3x Phalanx+4 and 1x Phalanx+5.
*
This is obviously a biased sentence.
I meant among the "relevant" augs that most people seem to be chasing. I didn't really take into account stupid augs that nobody cares about, some of which I might have seen even less than Phalanx for all I care and remember.

Do you have antivirus?
When you say windower files are on a separate drive, are there any symlinks?

Well, opened 8 boxes across 2 chars, got 1/8 matter, horseshit
Im not killing any more NMs until patch. Waste of time.
I killed 4 in Apollyon today... I guess I just can't resist killing NMs. 2006 syndrome.

Ok, glad to know that I am just having bad luck then.
I lazily did DM augments when I remembered for a long time and made a full set of +4/+5, then it went to daily and I thought "awesome! Time to grind out the last ones now that I know I can literally do it every day." Since then, only backwards.
I did get a Hades Earring +1 with a light resist augment recently, though.

Here you'll be able to yell, shout, chat, create global parties, and from there, access global instanced areas of content.
I can already see this being overrun by RMT who will use this as their safe space to sell non-stop across all servers.
I figured this could be a problem, but if Gil or items weren’t allowed to be traded that should limit it? Or require like… a player to have 3 jobs 99 with one of them mastered. Or it could be like… a moderated chat heh.
The only thing that matters is server transfers make profit.
They will absolutely never do anything that lessens server transfer profits. That's the beginning and the end of it.
(except close servers apparently which I never ever expected)
((said they should, but never expected them to actually do it))
Ah… well… SE being SE and profiting aside….
