Yeah, Ergon Weapons were added in June 2014, wow!
The first eu Ergon on our server was from Damane, the first NA was from uh... name starts with E! I can't remember lol

Making non-idris practically useless and unwanted is a major *** up of SE though. BRD isn't in much of a better position, but it easier to make than Idris without time gates.
I completely agree that it is things like this that make people end up just 3+ boxing and playing alone though.

9 years? Aren't Ergons older than that? I mean I got mine in 2016 and I wasn't among the early ones for sure, going by memory I was thinking something about 10-11 years old!
Psyches are a gate only for an extremely small minority of players btw.
The large majority of players are blocked by 8 bosses run Gallimaufry.
You can't get enough galli in 6 months even if you go every day, and there's obviously bound to be days you won't be able to run, days where something bad happens and you don't get the >50k Galli and so on.
Things could change if they released more teleporters I guess.
Even just adding teleporters to the corners where the bosses are upstairs, just that is like what, ~12 mins wasted?
With 12 more mins on each run I'm sure a noticeable amount of groups would be perfectly able to do 9 bosses runs, if not always at least a solid amount of times.
And even aside from that, so much of that 1hr of Sortie is completely wasted just walking around with Sneak/Invi that it stops being interesting very fast, it becomes tedious, wearisome, for no real rason either.

Gotta get over the "you didn't earn it like we did!!!" Mindset. Freaking old *** game, let people catch up instead of dealing with stupid time gates just because (I finished both Ergons long ago, this doesn't benefit me) A 90 minutes long applause for this man, folks!

Is this a ffxiah issue or is this a site used for the image's issue and it's blocked in my country for some reason?
I find this in most threads i go into recently.
The online safety act requires you to give your ID to any and all websites that comply with it (discord, twitter, youtube etc), many companies are not even bothering with that and are just blocking the UK cause it's a clownshow.
The EU is also working on a similar system.

How do we know the Waltz Potency received cap is 30 when there is only 8+9+3=20% on armor in game? Are there pieces with augments that don't show on FFXIAH search? If I recall, SE said it a long time ago. Found it, was patched by SE in the February 2012 patch.
They said themselves that it caps at 30%
Previously there was a 30% for WALTZ Potency, this was raised to 50%, and at the same time they specified that the cap for waltz RECEIVED is 30% and that it stacks with the potency.
If someone wants to update BGwiki with the source... that's it!

You can get waltz received potency on DM augments as well. I expected this to be the answer but then thought I've done hundreds in recent weeks and don't think I've ever seen it. I've seen waltz potency (Very rarely) but not received.

With Aeneas you can make 2-step light/radiance, with the right AM level up. This is also awful.

Nah, the primary property of the closing WS checks all 5 of the level 1 properties on Chainbound from WF, and closes Detonation... oh wait that's for Cyclone.
For Aeolian it checks all properties and makes Scission.
A DNC could probably fairly easily do WF -> Flat Blade -> Fusion, weapon swap to dagger -> Shark Bite. If they absolutely had too.
But the real method for DNC that requires no weapon swaps, no Aeonic, and no prime is to be DNC/mnk and use the Hepatizon Baghnaks.
Spinning Attack (or Wild Flourish) -> Raging Fists -> Fusion -> Dragon Kick -> Light. You're welcome.

Everything else is either old or first party. They aren't losing a lot of money to license fees.
They are still losing money for first party games if first day Game Pass reduces sales.
The fact that tons of third party refuse to launch on game pass first day shows that people are aware that having it available on game pass first day is likely bad for profit. MS is probably losing money on their first party games for more sub.

You can't level sync the mission fights, unless everyone is lying to me.
I'm not saying someone lied to you on purpose, because that very well could be SE being lazy and changing old level capped mission and battlefields to 99 instead of removing them outright, which would prevent syncing, but I'm clearly synced in a zelos orb fight.
Bad news: This took me 45 minutes from the PL to running around to finding what to test with.
Good news: 45 min on the treadmill doing this
What kind of treadmill do you use? I'm searching for one, but have not pulled the trigger yet. (How tall are you? because apprently, height/weight/stride length all matter)

+1. I'd rather have more people to play with (with good attitudes and willingness to learn). Not looking for elitists or try-hards who *** when newbie gets your old gear from 6+ years ago.

The BG wiki page lists them as separate parts in the formula, so you still need 50% in gear no matter what:
Quote: Equation: HP Cured = floor((Waltz Potency gear + Waltz Potency Received) ×floor( M×(User's CHR + Target's VIT) + B + 2*(Waltz Job Point Tiers) ) )
Waltz Potency gear caps at 50%, while Waltz received potency caps at 30%.

BG Wiki says:
"Increase Waltz potency by 2(*).
Potency will increase by a fixed amount, not a percentage."
It's not % potency AFAIK.

Waltz potency is 2 per JP, for a total of 40, not 20.
It's not potency % though, it's potency (like, the base number). So it has no effect on how you gear for it.
