Looks nice.

If you like Resident Evil or Silent Hill inspired indies then Tormented souls from 2021 is worth looking into. The design, in particular environment design is imho really good and in some parts maybe even surpasses their inspirations. Overall captures the classic survival horror mood very well and adds a bit of it's own flavor to the mix.

Tormented Souls 2 is also in the works and planned to be released end of October 2025.

You're coping they will open Asura again, it's pretty obvious they have no plan to do that.

Asura lockdown is containment. That's why there's no free transfers off to fix the issue, they simply don't want anyone else exposed to it.

Bahamut lockdown is to prevent the merc overflow.

Odin is the land of JP so that's where GMs actually hang out. No need to lockdown when bans will actually be handed out.

Everything according to plan. Maybe. Probably not. Literally don't think anyone knows what they're doing anymore tbh.

I like how companies are now pretending like they thought AI was going to do all the work for them, they they mistakenly laid off lots of workers.

No they laid off all the western white liberal workers, that were costing them lots of money and used AI as the excuse. Now they have hired lots of Indians who will now use AI (the intent all along), and the end result is they save money and increase productivity.

White liberals are soon to be an endangered species in the tech job market.

Hi Nynja, maybe you should do the test yourself if you are interested. I am only interested in correcting Rady's misinformation mostly.

You correct nothing, you lost the argument completely on my initial post.

So after getting cleaned out yesterday for making stuff up, not only do you continue making stuff up today, you go political? Ever the idiot, I suppose.

I'm not sure exactly what your point is but also: it would be quite strange to auto-target an enemy standing behind you that your character can't possibly see.

Funny you should say that, when any time I'm fighting more than three monsters, autotarget will invariably choose to point me at the one that I "cannot see" for purposes of actually swinging a damn weapon.

Sorry to bring this up again but how do I check nuking using sim again?

I've been using it for months (it's great) for different jobs but haven't been able to see calculations for magic related stuff, (weather it's the damage of single nukes, MB or continuous casting DPS).

How do you even get hundred fisted from the back? Mob generally has to take damage to pop 1h, and whoever's damaging it is going to have hate not you.

Trying to make it 'smarter' is silly. Just make it more logical with some sort of weight between center of field of view and distance. Maybe the distance from center of FoV counts for up to a 5 yalm reduction, then target the nearest mob after applying that reduction. Allows the user to line up their preferred mob from a nearby cluster and prevents the far-away targets when user is not actively positioning.

I don't think anyone has suggested it should target enemies behind you because that would be a bit weird
A enemy could be hundred fisting you from the back and the current system would still rather target a mob 30 yalms away cause it's in front of you. I find that much more weird than a distinction by other parameters like distance, aggro on myself or my party.

You find it strange that an enemy being aggressive (aggro on yourself or your party) is a parameter for auto target? You want it to auto-target literally any enemy remotely close to you, that's idly walking around?

I'm not sure exactly what your point is but also: it would be quite strange to auto-target an enemy standing behind you that your character can't possibly see. If it's hundred fisting you it makes...a bit more sense that you would "notice" it but...how does that work then? What's the timer on how recently the enemy hit you when you "notice" them? Do spells count? How about ranged attacks? What if a mob is asleep behind you? Would your character's ESP notice them anyway?

I'm sure auto target should/could be improved, but i don't think targeting some ***3 yalms behind you (through the eyes on the back of your head) instead of 5 yalms in front of you is the logical solution.

Hello! I need to start doing Gaol NMs and I’m in the same timezone as you. I would need to start with tier 1 but would love to move up and complete all of them with a dedicated group. Most geared job is BRD. Let’s do this!

Anyone that's done much work with offshore labour will tell you "increase in productivity" is not why companies use them.

Well most of these jobs will turn into what train drivers are now over time. The AI does most of the work, and the person is just there for "safety" or overseeing when it messes up.

It's wild what Microsoft are getting away with, they are effectively in collusion with the hardware manufacturers to create one of the biggest planned obsolescence systems in history.

They are junking hundreds of millions of computers, that work perfectly fine right now because they are ending free support for win10 and also having high spec requirements on win11.

They are just trying to turn your computer into an iphone, where you buy a new entire computer every few years because of the OS. Where you have less and less control over it, and it's no longer "your computer" anymore and now "this computer"

They don't even have to offer a better product anymore to entice you to upgrade, they just force it through fear. At least in the past they waited till Operating system use was below 5%, win10 is still at around 40-45% use and they are ending support anyway. "just buy a new pc, noob!"

They are getting away with it cause it's good for the economy to make you buy a load of BS over and over, and they are adding more and more spyware into each version of windows to the point it's hard to even see it anymore. All the electronic waste they are making, all the rare earth minerals they will need to farm for no reason will potentially cause a shortage to push up prices etc

Where is the hippy rage about muh environment? Nobody is even complaining about it really, where is the right to repair or right for others to offer security / os updates so people can carry on using win10 if Microshit refuse to do it.

That the only real options are Windows or Linux is insane, and just shows what companies can get away with if they play ball with the gooberment / intel agencies.

They can't just keep closing servers or there would be no servers left in the end.

Maybe they re-open some of the previously shutdown servers.

I'd love to go back to my original, now deceased, server.
