should i stick with Acuity Belt or change it to Hachirin-no-obi
Helices automatically get the weather buff guaranteed, so obi isn't necessary.

what's the consensus on dual wielding wizard's rod and bunzi's rod?
Does wizard's rod's bonus stats and burst effect outweigh dark arts?
legitimately curious about this
Yes.
Pros of dancer sub gives you more freedom to nuke spam for the most damage out of any other sj (by far). It also requires spaekona body though since you don’t have myrkr.

IMO you need to cap RP on Agwu's if you're doing an Ongo V25 fight using Agwu's.

How should SE represent it?
Well they shouldn't. You should represent it by being good, and encouraging/teaching others to also be good :)

Back in may, when buying the new house I thought:
Today could be the last time I have a haircut at this place.
Then I had my haircut.
Fast forwarding to today, I noticed my hair needs to be cut.
At the usual same place.
For the third time after the supposed last one

Lol
It's about 5% chance to get a Malignance Box on Easy, give or take. Of course, as anything based on an RNG, streaks of bad luck are possible, as are streaks of good luck.

If you're in some random tower of Temenos off to the side or like...Xarcabard [S] or something...sure...but Mhaura, Rabao, Kamihr #4? Absolute nonsense. Different server but I went afk and returned after about 45 minutes both in rabao and kamihr without receiving a raise, that was during return campaign mind you.

You've dismissed Nynjas concern with EP loss and reasoned it with the easy of regaining the loss since he bots it anyway, at the same time you're taking shortcuts yourself by playing easy mode in form of pay2win. All I'm trying to point out is (imho) you're throwing stones in the glass house - but what does stupid ignorant me know.
Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »yes, I made 8 shields and I "pay2win" if you consider using server transfers to purchase items "pay2win". If I played on Asura then I wouldn't have paid (USD) for anything, but I prefer to play on Carbuncle so I, unfortunately, had to pay to change servers to purchase the quantity of spheres I need. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else but IIRC you mentioned that you're booking wardrobes and are multiboxing? If that's the case you must be so accustomed to shelling out extra bucks for advantages that you don't even notice it anymore.

So...
Anymore data on the Malignance Box droprate?
'-')
I wouldn't call this data exactly, but... with TH8+ on Easy, I got two boxes over 47 runs. I had to pop the second box 18 times to get the last piece of malignance gear I needed for that character.

I don't think being ML50 makes a difference either way.
They can be ML50 and be great, or they can be ML50 and not know basic mechanics.
I can't say I've ever seen an ML40+ in ambu gear though, that definitely screams "bought account" or something wrong.
Maybe just the group have been lucky to play with, but seen and played with several people that play tank, dd, support and mage all on the same character, or multiple characters, very effectively.
As in doing sortie on a tank and knowing what to do and when, playing rng and being real good, playing mage and being real good. I on occasion play whm for example but don't pretend to be as good as the best whms.
Anyway for OP, I think playing the "hard" jobs is a good indication of skill and knowledge. For me those are tanks, whm, rdm, and some support like brd.
Brd can be hit and miss, you have uber career brds that do everything and you have "bards" that sing then want to afk and get annoyed at being told no, you have to do more.
But if they have v25 clears on tank, whm and rdm or sch, or even tank and a mage job, that's pretty top tier for me.
For sortie IMO it's more about gearing not really skill. Once you know the fights and have geared for them correctly, odds of going wrong are slim.
The niche jobs are niche, you don't see a lot of great rngs because you don't see many people that even play rng much, let alone know how to play it effectively.

Maybe that's an Asura thing, RMT-bought MLs are not a thing on small servers.
Maybe the small servers are different from each other, but on my small server there are LOADS of people with ML50 who have no idea what they're doing, because they botted and/or bought ML50. We have someone in my LS who's ML40 (or 45?) on a job and has only Ambu gear and hasn't touched basically any endgame at all.
I think the best suggestions for how to show someone is "gud" would be the thing people suggested about clearing content on many different roles. People who are REALLY good but only at a specific job/role don't impress me anywhere near as much as people who can swap from WHM to PLD to SAM to RNG to BLM on a dime. These people are, in my experience, exceedingly rare though. Especially those who actually know the detailed nuance of each job and not just "yeah I have that job, it's ML50 and geared, but I don't have the first *** idea what to do on it"
Everything else is cheesable and frankly, there are lots of people I've played with who have been carried HARD through a lot of content, including some of the hardest ***in the game. While the fights are very challenging, there's always a couple jobs you can throw an idiot on and they don't have to do anything too complicated while you walk their happy *** across the finish line.
If I had to pick something in the current game, I think the most impressive things to me ATM are the super hard master trials (maybe there's only 1 right now?), St5 Prime weapons, and R30 Nyame/all Ody bosses V25 (easy to cheese, but not on Carbuncle).
While prime weapons/Aminon aren't actually all THAT skilled/difficult to get, it shows me that you have at least some social skills to be able to (probably) regularly do well in Sortie and (definitely) clear HM Aminon a bunch of times, which is no simple task. Prime AG are quite uncommon on Carbuncle, to the point where I still turn my head when I see one and I'm surprised, even a couple years into the release of them.

I dont see anywhere in your 0.0.10 code for this to be an opt-out function. Considering this involves the client doing things its not supposed to be able to do natively, can I suggest defaulting this to off and making it an opt-in function? While I dont believe anyones ever been banned for using the 0x016 packet in such a way, there are still some things people may feel less comfortable doing.

After the despair of being stucked in the same point for dozen of hours, now a slightly feeling of accomplishment when I look my char 10lv higher than my past attempt with same amount of gameplay.
This is one of the most fascinating aspects of humans, how they somehow manage to improve something that is already peak at first glance, but repertition shows you were barely scratching the surface of excelence.

master trial weapons kind of fill this role.
Master trial weapons only talk about how much time you spent on a fight that only gives you an epeen lockstyle weapon.

I would re-introduce sub-less/trust-less fights for every job, similar to the RUN + GEO empyrean 135 quests where you had to kill NM solo for mats.
RUN Empy fight
GEO empy fight
These fights aren't hard now, but were kind of challenging at the time when they were new. At least for the RUN fight, you had to know which elements were strong and weak vs what, and the days of the VanaDiel week. You also needed to properly time abilities like Liement, Battuta, and One For All to properly negate (and even heal) oncoming damage. GEO was a basic grav kite and nuke (but still engaging for the time).
Something kind of like Shattering Stars Matt/Balrahn/Pulling The Srings ENM solo fights, but updated to ilvl, with a sliding scale similar to Odyssey Veng fights (V+0 = CL119, v+25 ~CL145), so players can challenge themselves. Reward a trophy, title, visible glow, or an additional tier of merits or job point accessibility based on how high of a level you can clear. Or a unique job-item, similar to "Pulling The Strings" rewards. Track progress on leaderboards, similar to Ballista and VanaBout rankings so people can compete with others for clear times. I think it would be a cool way for players to improve their skills on a particular job by fighting against a mannequin that you need to outwit, and use your job knowledge to overcome. Make it repeatable with no EP loss so players don't feel discouraged for losing, and allow other players to be able to watch the fights live (The Pit/Colosseum is a great place for it).
The catch is you'd have to do the fight solo in a public area just like the RUN/GEO quests (but without a sub, allow meds), not in an instanced zone, so you'd have a bit more pressure on you, but also people cheering you on and able to watch your strategy and see what works/doesn't work. Make the requirements for winning different based on the job (i.e. PLD might need to survive a certain period of time, DD has to kill, WHM has to heal a certain amount of HP within a period of time, etc).
Also, never gonna happen, but i had time.
Not sure this would be a great indication that somebody knew their job unless some really specific stuff went down - like in the paladin fight, you can only deal 1 damage per hit, and are assisted by NPC damage-dealers you have to protect or fail the fight, red mage fight rages if you don't keep enough debuffs up, summoner fight can only be won by changing to a different job - but if there were no significant cost to enter and the reward was only completion (or even a cosmetic weapon like master trials offer, that'd be okay) I could see sinking time into it just for fun.
