I'm kind of at a loss. I won rank 2, but I don't know what to pick. It's on a mule so things like Cats Eye don't apply. I already have two Crep Cloaks. Any advice?
I feel like you should never pick anything except the nyzul tokens skip. A cloak could be argued for, but nothing else matters on a mule character that you will transfer to main. Tokens is literally hours of your life that you can skip with the book. |

Downloaded and installed XI in like 1 hour, i never understand peoples complaints about that. Took almost no time at all to find it off google "Download FFXI", download the files and unzip/update.

I finally decided on one, this hopefully should last me for a long time. I feel it was a good investment as i travel a lot. I might not game a lot but having the option is always nice.

It doesn't sound related, but for me, the longer I leave the client open, the more the game AND windows 10 lags (even opening up a new folder window will be slow asf). So I manually kill the process called "Desktop Window Manager" to resolve this issue about once a day.

every gaming laptop i've ever purchased has been a disappointment
I've been sorely tempted to just get a business laptop (good on specs, has decent warranty, usually fairly easy to open/replace basic parts) then get an external gpu/dock for it. But then again I don't do much portable stuff anymore so no real need for it. |

I decided since I couldn't really narrow it down to just extract all the addons output by lua m into the console log.
and just make a quick script that unloads them all waits about 5 seconds and loads them all back in.
The difference is massive after leaving the game running for 8-12h assuming things are constantly being written during this time.
So for those of you who never log out consider trying this.
Although nothing is gonna beat a full client restart.
I ended up doing the same, but mine also unloads plugins and aliased it for quick use, it definitely helps, personally not noticed any difference between a restart and just unloading/reloading everything myself, but I've also dropped a lot of heavier addons/plugins recently anywho. If you're running autoload to reload you don't need a wait really, it has a wait 5 built into it. |

The original nm like the other 3 have a unique piece of equipment same image that were recently updated
Need to get to a special part of each map and you can fight them.
The mercenary ring was his drop
If I recall correctly one time we went to get the candy back wow I can't spell that word at all
And it was a long time ago but I believe it triggered a bc not the normal entry you would do as prep for a mythic

Recently, my PLD got 1 shot by a counter on B with capped MDT (Aegis). ~2800 damage.

The scroll seemingly disappeared completely instead of going back in my inventory? Also now I can't send the newbie anything else?
What's the deal?
They deleted the character(to make a new one on Asura) or panic transferred(to Asura), depending how much progress they have.
The server stores both the outgoing data with your account data and the incoming data with theirs. To pull it out of the sender's box, they have to successfully delete the data from the recipient's box. If the recipient's box no longer exists, there's nothing you could've done to get the scrolls back. Dang. :( Was looking forward to helping them |

He can definitely counter but its very rare and only dangerous during wind mode after he's absorbed numerous buffs. (more of a problem on B then F ironically)
F is normally super buffed and he dies before he's too strong. (melee zerg)

So my ls mate told me to switch mnk for Sam "it would be faster"
I don't know why people believe this, but it's just not true, unless we're comparing like a Stage 5 SAM to a non-Prime MNK.
Seeing as how your attack is capped, these fights will be short. You have Warcry from WAR too, so you will have massive TP overflow. SAM benefits less from Warcry due to their TP overflow with Zanshin. With Footwork (you should have it for full fight), you will obliterate any boss, or Howling Fist if you fear making an unfavorable SC. I would be shocked with those buff if you don't hit 3-4 80k+ Tornado/Dragon Kicks/Howling Fist and a strong Raging Fist (if you are cycling to break up wall). MNK would also add Chi Blast which makes bosses less dangerous in that short zerg, and Mantra gives WHM a little more breathing room to keep people alive, especially vs Gartell. Now while SAM has the advantage of Yaegesumi vs Gartell, Gartell can still kill a SAM through his SP2 by countering an attack or landing a buffed up melee attack. MNK's Inner Strength gives you 100% Guard Rate, so Gartell probably can't kill MNK as easily as it can SAM, or maybe not at all with Chakra and the huge HP chunk you get for 30 seconds.
I'm not saying SAM isn't incredibly strong, but the myth that "SAM is faster than MNK" as a blanket statement is just not true.
Fairly confident F can not kill ta dam through yag. My groups main strat was to Zerg till feathers then pop yag and spam mumei till I died. Never once did I take damage with yag up. His AA and counters counted as special attacks. |

I don't remember what things i couldn't dig when I was still a low level digger, but there was an item or three that just would not appear until i had a fairly short wait after zoning to dig.
I'd say the same, you will fail a skill check on items, but almost all of them don't have any level check to fail.
I think one of them was dragon heart in xarc (S). i didn't see that thing drop for like a month before i saw multiple in a single week.
Dig accuracy also seems to rise about the whole time as well. which could be an item listed in two pools, like uncommon & rare, with rare having a skill check.
Quite difficult to pin down since we can't force skill to remain at a lower tier.
