And you should be using Hauksbok Arrow for Savage Blade unless I missed something in the last year.

Bayeaux Arrow STR+20. I don't see how that's not covered under what I said, "outside of whatever stat boost it might potentially give."

The original question, unless I'm misreading it, is whether ammo DMG affects non-ranged WS like Savage Blade.

Why would either bullet or arrow matter for Savage Blade? Or for that matter, whether there's even a ranged weapon equipped at all (outside of whatever stat boost it might potentially give, e.g. 17 STR & DEX on Arasy Bow +1 or something).

I would say it depends on the job, but for me, ML20 minimum, ML30 recommended, anything beyond that is "nice to have". Even the "Minimum" is a loose minimum, I've done plenty of Sortie on ML0-ML10 jobs, and hundreds of Aminons on ML25~30 jobs. I only have 1 job that's ML45+ and it's BRD, so gains *** from the OA tier.

SIRD is going to do veeery little for most sortie bosses. Most bosses have magical melee hits, and magic hits don't interrupt spellcasting.

Degei/Aita/Skomora/Triboulex/Aminon are 100% magical melee attacks. No need for SIRD.

Ghatjot/Dhartok/Leshon/Gartel have one physical melee hit. And of those I'd really only have any concern about Leshon/Gartel maybe interrupting.

I'm not sure what changed; something in Nvidia/DgVoodoo maybe, but now for whatever reason, I can start the game in borderless fullscreen and that works just fine, but if I let the game idle and Windows goes back to the login screen, the game just refuses to go back to occupying the whole screen. I'm typing //window_togglefullscreen and it very briefly refills the full screen, then less than a second later it returns to a windowed mode. Any idea what setting I may have broken along the way?

I have had full inventory (yeah I know in a rush and full of actual trash), so couldn’t claim the whole loot after opening the box, made some room, clicked again, got the left over loot AND burn the extra tag at the same time (I do have a picture of it on discord to show that), funny thing that also fill up my inventory and so burn the 2nd extra. There is no prompt… and you will burn your extra or loose part of your loot, but the matter is last of the list, so you got to get that right… Cant say if the extra bar is a different system, but was 5 + 3

I think some people here only post under its effects, given how aggressive they get.

I think the free boxes might have a different 5k system. I've heard reports of people getting 3k then 5k immediately after. It's just anecdotal and I didn't ask for pics or anything, but there's at least some vibes out there that the 5k for free boxes might be different.

I’m trying to convince myself to do the set, yes the MEVA is of big concern to me, and I agree, all my sets have a tendency of being the opposite of papier mâche. I do follow Sim simulator (stuff he posted) but definitely skipped anything that is not modern in a sense. I like what melliny posted, but the tally of MEVA is concerning, granted there isn’t much in a sense of challenging. Happy about the conversation so far thought

RE: the aquaveil set.

regal cuffs would give +1 more shadow than chironic gloves even if the chironic gloves got you over a skill break point. can also do a second stikini ring +1 and andoaa earring for +13 skill if you really need skill. Unless that set is supposed to be actually defensive, which I guess it is, but not really.

84 Tick Regen IV set while maintaining 50 DT. However, it only lasts for 3min compared to the guides 3min 30secs set. But in Sortie 3min is long enough. In segs 3mins gives you plenty of time to store up stratagems as /sch. Look for the right window to reapply in Gaol.

God, I just can't stop thinking about Tuxedo Mask.

For ninja specifically as its the job I primarily play. Ran sim with /drg and /war lucky sam roll, 4/5 revelation pieces does come out "BiS" when putting in some reasonable values for DT(50MDT primarily) with malignance hands coming out on top still for the slot(not surprised). But we are talking such marginal gains in tp speed for a relatively large amount of MEVA loss.

4/5 Revelation + Malignance Hands reports 2.615 VS 2.796 with 4/5 Malignance + Nyame A head. Difference of 0.181 seconds for time/WS.

/WAR
4/5 Revelation + Malignance hands 2.487 VS 4/5 malignance + Nyame A head 2.642, difference of 0.155.

521 MEVA VS 674 MEVA. 153 less MEVA is substantial considering the tp gain is near negligible.

As noted above, the sim isn't gospel but it is a useful tool that does make you question how you may want to spend your time and or gil in your character development.

I for one can't justify this set for NIN unfortunately. Haven't looked into its value for WAR but I imagine its very similar.
