Because, if you're making the point that Obama is a great president, you have to have something objective to base it off, otherwise it's just the same as the people saying he's the worst president ever because... he's a Kenyan Muslim or whatever.

A lot of the "reasons" given in the article are just a result of Obama not managing to get in the way of what would have happened anyway. "Send him our way when you're done so he can be a symbolic figure for the perceived end of racism and not get in the way of inevitable progress."

I'm not making the assertion that gay people have special privileges over others, cause I don't care enough about the topic to even bother to look to see if there are any.

ACA sets news guidelines and doles out federal money to expand coverage provided they abide by the guidelines.

I'd just like to point out that what qualifies as a medical condition and what is used to treat it is for doctors to decide. You, me, insurance adjusters... it's irrelevant how you feel about a recognized medical condition or the treatment, and why is nobody livid about those programs paying for Viagra?
