4 stacks of kabobs is standard for me. Usually go through 2-3, bring 4 just in case so I don't have to start dipping into my yellow curry buns

There are plenty of people who are 0/??? on Swift Belt, and unless you're friends with a super BST or two (and even then, only Hume/Elvaan, forget Mithra/Taru), you're going to need a decent group to fight the fomors. This isn't always easy to set up.

I'm not referring to her here, this is a general statement; but I wouldn't look down on someone because they have Headlong Belt. At least they're trying, and not TPing in something like Warwolf (which I see a lot of DDs do.) Of course, don't get me wrong, you should still try for Swift. But that's like saying anyone with access to Jugner Forest or Balga's Dais should be using Velocious/Speed instead of Swift.

Incidentally, on BLU I eat Squid or Sole Sushi, on BST I usually eat pizza with Tuna Sushi for backup. BST usually costs a couple virtue stone pouches, too.

I'm a "HE" ; ;, Ushikirimaru was equipped because my friend borrowed hagun and equipped Ushi just so it looks like I still had hagun equipped lol, and I'm using headlong because I'm 0/17 on swift belt. I stopped trying to get swift belt as of 8 months ago, I gave up on it, currently going for V belt 0/5 so far. I'm not one to ask much for help, as I don't like to waste people's time. I easily 2box KA with sam/thf and sam/dnc.

Someone math for me, brd brd cor (marchx2, minx2, drk roll)at birds is food actually needed? Assuming capped acc and atk always over 800... just wondering.

Used to buy 4 stacks of miths, then 3, now 2. 2 if I know the DDs I'm with, 3 if not.

Just whatever the cost of the materials to synth the food. I make all of my food on my cooking mule. When I go thf or rng I make my own arrows and bolts so I get off relatively cheap. Same for shadows, sneak and invis tools.

1, 2, 3, 4, 1697, 1698, 1699, 1700 doesn't count.

When I did go out on DRK I used a stack of meat per hour. But my DRK sucked so, didn't get too much hate.

I make my own kabobs, but I usually go about 4 stacks in 3 hours.

Not that my parties suck, but because the mobs only TP like once or twice before they die.

I haven't meritpo'd for awhile now, but 5-7 stacks of crab sushi when I did. Caitsith has some shitty meritpo's/DD's.

I think I'm going to make generic retorts now, they are much easier and just as effective.

food is always needed, if ur not using even a cheapy mithkabob/crab sushi gtfo meripo. your not guaranteed to roll an 11 on cor roll everytime.

another reason food is needed is because your doing it wrong.

brd,cor,dnc,DD,DD,rdm w/ maxed merit haste samba (+10haste) its a huge diff when it procs, the dnc also helps heal so your brd doesnt have to spam your healer with ballads and can keep continuous pulls coming. with this setup you NEED food to get maximum dmg output from your jobs. i've hit 35k+ @ bird camp, non-relics in party. (Pole sam x2 as DD)

I'll agree that DNC instead of bard is better, but if they have a well geared DD brd + cor then they'd still do well in that party. Just a second lazy brd tossing up minuets can gtfo though.

3~4 stacks of kabobs on war or 3~4 stacks of Sushi on sam..meriting on Rdm is nice(AND BORING) because it's free.

And I don't care how good your pt is..with food it will be better.

Edit: However I would not wanna add up to see how much money I've spent on food for merits...I think it would make me sad.

Technically in that situation you won't need the attack or the accuracy that food could give, but are you capping accuracy with full haste, full attack gear? If not, then pop a sushi and gear more aggressively, if so eat a meat and get 5STR.

But in reality:

Yes food is needed, cos when you drop the second BRD and get another DD or a DNC your attack be uncapped and so a meat will make up for it. Also meat covers the occasional low roll or bust.
