._. Sooo for someone whos never watched anime before (other than soul eater) what would you guys reccomend i watch if i wanted to get into something?

Because alot of Anime is so different id have a look at some of the things posted here and have a look. Alot of it is personal taste. I would say Go Shakugan no Shana but others wouldn't (my gf completely didn't get into it lol) so best bet is just take some options from here get comfy and churn a few episodes out. Also I like Gundam and funnily enough any Tenchi with Kagatao (sp) in it. Such a cool evil guy. It's difficult to choose just 1 for me, my favourites are:
Code Geass Elfen Lied FMA Brotherhood Gantz (manga) Hellsing Hunter-x-Hunter Naruto Shippuuden Yu Yu Hakusho Edit: Fairy Tail has to be up there too. Naruto, as main stream as it is, is still enjoyable imo. Not ashamed to say this, but I'll always be a Sailor Moon fan~ JP onry. None of that English ***...

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is f'in awesome(manga mostly) Deathnote Code Geass Naruto(or should i say Sasuke is a good anime/manga) DB/Dbz were like the starter drug of anime for me. Y's Otherwise was a pretty decent anime as well....and um... El Hazard 1, that was a really good one (had to remember the name lol)
oh ya...and Gensomaden Saiyuki was AWESOME..the first one though, not the 2nd...2nd was a joke and i couldn't even finish it Waaay too many.
Tenchi, Outlaw Star, Vampire Knight & Vampire Knight Guilty, Kodocha, Fruits Basket, Bleach (Jp onry!), Sailor Moon, Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances), Full Moon wo Sagashite, NANA, Angel Beats!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Blue Seed, Gundam Wing, Princess Rain(e) (can't find this anywhere any more ;;), Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne and probably much more that I'm forgetting or can't remember the name of. some more, dont think they were mentioned

How's Dance on the Vampire Bund so far? Was pretty turned off by the first two episodes (too much rori >_>). Then again, there was many animes showing during those weeks... had to drop it :(

But I guess I'll give it a shot.
