I know it's not much, but Tablilla is fairly easy as DNC/NIN and drops Charis hand seals :D
Typhoonx3 is easy to deal with as long as you have shadows+ fan dance up. He won't even do it often enough to make it dangerous unless you have a group of people feeding it TP. Fight took me about 15 minutes with RR/GH.

She speaks the truth people! Many NMs now are very soloable by a competent Nin and or Dnc and the two together are a dream team.

I did Glavoid today on DNC (not solo). I have heard Gorge/Disgorge is damage with a Base + absorb damage spread among all the people it hits. I don't know how you'd avoid being one-shotted by that solo. I could use Violent Flourish to stun -aga 4s, but not Gorge/Disgorge because he absorbed damage the damage and the stun wouldn't proc.
Well if you are ninja solo, can do the new spell or take a Titan/brd, unless drinks can negate that dmg.
Fool's would negate the damage, but he's probably going to use it more than once.
Manananggal is soloable as dnc/nin with any HP boosting atma and a decent evasion setup. Really fun fight if you're looking to waste some time getting the abyssite that upgrades gold chest drops.
Ika-Roa is also soloable as dnc/nin with Vissitude and Razed Ruins, but the doll NM that drops dnc seals is a much better option. Asura.Yunalaysca said: to be honest the less people the better. Also soloed Hm'Zdei today, which I see as kind of an achievement? I don't know but I got the Crooner after 5 kills. Hm'Zdei used to be a harder fight before the AGI patch. Now he's pretty easy. Turn around for 30 seconds after he uses his Ice Spikes move.

GH/RR/Apocalypse, took him on in my full evasion build but I haven't gotten a second Kila +2 yet. Solo'd Quetzalli the other day on dnc/nin. All of the spells are stunnable and the NM really shouldn't give you any problems.

I don't know what kind of Atmas you were using, but I've done 80% of Quetzalli's HP in a single self-skillchain before. If you don't care about your lights, melee him down to about 70%, then self-skillchain to kill him. I always ended up trying to kill him without Ruby, so Saber Dance and Haste Samba was the way to go for the end. Catch him in a spell and it'll be over quickly. Ouzelum in altepa is a pretty easy solo.

Question to all you super solo dancers.. I just got dnc to 75 and normally I solo my NMs on nin/dnc, but am thinking about transitioning to dnc/nin soloing.... do you guys rock 2x agi/evade kila+2 or do you guys use a different knife combo to solo?
i used to do eva kila/auric for a couple reasons, subtle blow is nice (duh lol) and evasion isnt going to do much for you when you get to 95% avg evasion rate, use things like novia, mirke with eva augment (i also had dual wield on it) fug beret etc etc and you wouldnt need to use double eva kila's.

And his counter rate is pretty annoying on a non-evasive setup. so you still main the auric with the twilight knife? or are you rockin the Daka+2 with twilight? for those of us that don't have the WoE weapon is auric still good at 90 with 1 kila+2? also... you dont focus on haste at all for shadows? or do you simply macro it all in when you're casting?
Byakko was a fun tanking job, had a WHM backup and a friend on BST using Dipper if ***hit the fan. Most of the time Byakko missed, but did get some lucky shots in. Was thankful for the WHM backup on a few occasions (dual-box'd). Tried Seiryu as well, was quite a bit tougher, loved to spam Wind Wall and strip buffs, last 25% or so sucked. Did help a friend get Haidate though! lol

Soloing him is old news kinda too should be a joke for any nin or dnc with an evasion set just stun the zombie tp move unless he 2 hours in that case kite him (or maybe one on the fanaticis/fools can stop it? never tried). If you solo the 50 sobek skins (real solo not DB mage) that would be impressive but till you get kanaggi second stage its not much more then town gear. Not that i dont believe you but looking at the gear on your profile and in the picture im just curious is all. If you like just send pm with the response. Again im not giving you a hard time just curious. As long as you watch the damage on M. Strike, you'll know when to run out of range. If the WS does 1111 points of damage, 2h will go off (3 x Colossal Slam). To be safe, all you have to do is run out of range once it does M.Strike. Watched a NIN/WHM solo, and have been doing NIN/WAR and WHM duo a lot.
As galka NIN I can hit 3200 HP with Sanguine Scythe and cruor buffs alone so even if I get hit with both as long as I keep running im all right lol. None the less, I have watched a mithra NIN/WAR and WHM duo it easily, running out of range of Colossal Slam. |
