Proto-Ultima {Do You Need It?} ~ Asura

Right now I have in my possession a Proto-Ultima pop set. I had to take a break last fall which prevented me from being able to pop it with my limbus LS and when I came back my limbus LS was broken. And I just don't have the time for another EGLS anymore.

And this June I'm going to boot camp and I don't see myself playing a whole lot of this when I'm in tech school. So I offer to Asura a free-lot Proto-Ultima. Well at least a good number of people. I have a few friends who are interested but the number keeps on changing so I'm uncertain with what's going on their part.

Anywho. I'll be popping it sometime this month when I know I'm a solid 18/18 and it will be before April 28th since I won't be on during my wedding time. That is if I get enough people. Possible pop may be in the beginning of May then.

I will be quite the stickler on what jobs are needed and what gear you have. I do not mean to come off sounding like an elitist but I am not wasting a Proto-Ultima for kicks and giggles. I'm not expecting 5/5 salvage people but I am expecting people with manageable EG gear. I'll be only taking offers from people whom I can see their jobs/gear on FFXIAH.com.

When I'm 18/18, I'll let those who are interested know of the pop time. I will try to the best of my ability to make it a time that all of us will be available for. Letting you know the pop window will most likely be somewhere between 3 PM EST through 7 PM EST Sunday through Saturday. I work nights so I wake up in the afternoon and don't like bouncing from game to work.

I also ask those who are interested in Proto-Ultima have one of the jobs that can wear the gear. Or if you have a friend who just wants to help with the fight and doesn't want the gear, that will be fine.

Now the pieces in question. The 100% FL pieces are hands, feet and head. I'm interested in body or legs myself. Body mostly so if body drops and legs drop, body will be in my interest. Also one piece per person. So /seacom before entrance and I will jot down who's interested in what.

I'm sorry, Lautus members, for having to give away our hard earned pop set but I'd rather know that there are people getting gear from it than just letting it rot or tossing the chips away.

You sound a bit extreme for something as simple as Ultima. But goodluck with your hunt.

Simple? Yeah. Perhaps the first 80% of the fight is. But if anyone slips up the last 20%. The tank, the healer, the DDs and it goes all to hell. And I'm not being extreme. I'm not into wasting people's time and energy for a "Oh lets have fun beating up Proto-Ultima and if we wipe who cares" event.

Doing Ultima with a pick up group does indeed take 18/18. Pick up groups suck, and Ultima isn't exactly THAT easy.

You underestimate the power of an Asurian Pickup Group.

Asura is known for their PUGs.

I don't think Ultima's hard at all if you bring competent people. A poorly planned pick up group will have difficulty. i.e, your typical pick up.

You're probably so; I do speak from experience, and since I am still fairly new to Asura, I guess its wrong of me to judge so quickly.

Lot of normal shells can have trouble with Ultima. The Last 20% can turn into a free for all depending on his mood.

Asura is generally pretty stupid, PUG no exception obv.

I'm currently around 9-10 people interested. Most of which have multiple jobs so it would appear most jobs slots are available.

Asura sucks! maybe youll find good ppl from pandy that wont wipe BEFORE getting to ultima lol.

People are usually alot more stupid than you think they are. You'd be amazed. For some reason most people cant follow simple directions, or they do *** up ***because "they thought it was funny".
