i play so much i have no life in ffxi due to spending all my time making sushi to fund my relic sword ( half way to caliburn, wooo)
but think..... so pathetic you have no life.... in a game for people with no life... Well sometime ago i was playing FFXI like i normally do when i get back from work and my wife was cooking and humming a song. Well the song she was humming was San d'Oria music xD (she does not play ffxi)

This sucks cause its true. But i have my alarm clock on my cell phone, for when i need to get up from bed. And often when it rings and im half awake im thinking "no worries, im brd/nin, Magic Finale -> Cell phone" and i push snooze then fall asleep again.
You know you've played too much when you subconsciously hit the TAB key while typing thinking that auto-translate will finish off the last few characters of whatever you were typing. I always do this when in msn/ aim chatting... ; ;
One day I was driving by a gas station and I saw a neon sign in the window that said "ATM" and as I sat at the red light I thought "at the moment what...?" then I realized that it was advertising a cash machine, and all I could do was /facepalm.
Recently visited a zoo and had the urge to strafe around animals as locked on targets (tigers specifically), getting ready to kill them after casting shadows. At least it felt real until reality hit me.
Whenever i get asked at work "how long will that take?" or "can this be done?" i always seem to reply <Hmmm> <Impossible to Gauge>.
Once, when i left the house in the morning, it was foggy and I said to myself "Oh damn i gotta watch out for bombs" =/
Good thing i can use /emotes on ICQ without feeling ashamed, cause most of the ppl i talk to have played FFXI and they know what i mean ^-^; lol I've done the ^.^ on an email to my IT help desk and the it tech replied with "You play MMO games don't you?" lol
You know you play FFXI too much when you walk into a room and shout...
"ZONING!" lmao I've said the "In real life.." and my bf teases me about it and says "What this isnt real life?", of course I catch myself when I say it and I laugh and have to explain myself that I was meaning "In person" lol
I was on the phone the other day with a friend and I had to go to the BR and I was like "afk one sec bio" and they're like "what??"...
Then it hit me and when I explained my friend was like "Duuuuuuude....get off your computer" lol Signs of too much FFXIing?

I was coming home from visiting my grandmother's house. Travelling a little fast (read: almost 100mph). watching FFXI amv's on you tube, and well watching some (I.e how to MPG RMT's on pirate attacks) trying to Ro-tate the game camra in the vid >.>; -yea watching ff vids on you tube. well sitting in basty_S heh =3 sign #2? I was grinding dancer to 37 one week and it made me dead tired. One morning while I was asleep my dad asked my why I was so tired. I said "From all that dancing" He said "What dancing?" I said "I'll show you later". Wasn't until I woke up that I realized what I had said. Needless to say. I got DNC to 37.
Edit: Also a few years back when I lived w/ my mother. She would also hum the Sandy music and she strongly dislikes the game. |
