Signs Of Too Much FFXI(ing?)

dont know if its already been told in here or not but here goes
i read this somewhere and thought it was great as my brother and i both play

so theres these 2 brothers that play and live together, the older brother has a dog that apparently doesnt like the other brother all that well, so while the older brother is playing ffxi the younger comes in to the room ask a question the dog goes after him, the older brother screams at him "you got aggro you better zone it fuker!!! ZONE IT!!!" lmfao

Me and my friend were chatting one day and I mentioned my dad's bday was the next day. And my friend asked "what level are your parents anyways?". Then we both started laughing hysterically.

When your in the club with one of your boys and see this bad *** chick and he tells you to "Go pull that."

Or when your driving without inspection and think "***hope I don't agro the cop that just passed me."

i always type /l or /p on msn,sometimes i talk about money in k, and you know how when your a kid youd spend your lunch money on cig's.... i use it to pay my secret ff account

i remember one morning ( i passed all night playing ffxi ), my dad came in my bedroom and waked me and shouted me "GO FIND A JOB" and i answer "uhhhh ok, lemme do the quest first !!"

My girlfriend shouted at me to wake up once and i said hold on a minute let me cast this spell. lmao

Yes, I'm also guilty of using /l, /p and FFXI emotes in message service windows.
My cellphone now has popular auto-translate phrases pre-programmed.
Me and my fiance both play and have caught each other saying auto-translate phrases to one another.
My boss also plays the game and at least half of our conversations are about FFXI rather than work.
The computer at work has ffxiclopedia, ffxiah and our linkshell website on the desktop.
I have caught myself shouting "zone" to my fiance while walking out of hearing range.
I have tried to play WoW (that lasted about 10 minutes...) but have become so accustomed to the FFXI controls and menu layout that the game just sucked.
I have had several dreams pertaining to FFXI.
The last time I was pulled over driving I actually said "F*ck, aggro."
I was almost rear-ended the other day driving home from work and said "F*cking noob!"
I have referred to money as gil.
Busy preparing for Dynamis-Windurst my fiance asks if there is anything I need from the grocery store, as they left I shouted "Don't forget Echo Drops!".
My fiance woke me up last night having the alarm clock set for 2:30am... I asked what the hell they were doing and got the reply "It's Windsday, I have to check on my Tree Saplings."
I once got a phone call from my friend in Nevada (I live in Wisconsin) at 4:00am... Half asleep I mumbled "Hello?" the response on the other end was "Brian, it's Arri, get the hell out of bed, we have claim on Simurgh!" I immediately woke up, woke my fiance up and headed to get my new boots...no drop. ;_;
And I suppose the biggest indicator that I play too much FFXI is, in fact, my /playtime: 477 days, 14 hours, 16 minutes and 49 seconds.

A person in our ls has dreams of ffxi and the one that we all crack up over the most and tease him still is:

so everytime he starts saying he had a dream, we just start mentioning clowns.

My girlfriend now does /emote as well even though she has never touched FFXI.

I managed to used a quote from Shadowlord in one of my English Literature essays while writing in class, remembering it word for word, and got commended for the quote because it actually fits. XD
My English class all knows I play FFXI since I tend to quote dialogue from it quite a bit... One classmate constantly tries to mock me for it when there are visitors but everyone else tells her to stfu :D

I zone, afk, ___ skill up and brb alot. I also use auto-translate phrases alot.

Since I can't play while I'm at school, I tend to FFXI to-do lists and gear sets on blank pages of the homework diary I never use for recording homework in...

I had a dream my house was being attacked my 300 Wyrms..

Yesterday while driving with g/f i saw a license plate ending with SH. I then proceeded to say aloud "Scorpion Harness, Accuracy and Evasion +10, Hitpoint +15, Dark and Water elemental resist +15, Ice elemental resist -20, Lv 57.

Could be worse i guess, could have named all the jobs able to equip. Anyways made us lol.

It was Thanksgiving day and I had just found out the day before, that my chocobo was going to come out red, which got me very excited, as I've always wanted a colored chocobo. I was talking and eating with my family, and I almost started to brag to them about how I'm going to have a red chocobo :[

i get mad when i cant change to 3rd person view in rl or when i cant change the camera angle >_>

-I've had dreams so realistic to FFXI, that the next day, I have to log in to double check whether or not I got the item I dreamed about.
-I always use [Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.] along with many other auto-translate function phrases in RL.
-Once I asked my RL friend, who had no association with FFXI, what lvl his son was. Instead of what I meant: "How old is your son?"
-I speed home to get on in time for endgame events. A 30-40 minute commute easily becomes 20-30 minutes.
-70% of my cell phone is people I've never met, and who play FFXI. 4/5 of which I have listed as "My Five"
-I whistle the songs to zones IRL, when I'm at work. (Whitegate/ Zi'Tah, Jeuno)
-I left my sister-In laws baby shower early, to resume camping my Argus window, (which is the day I got my peacock amulet).
-For my wedding (irl) I got my wife to agree to having friends from the game attend, whom I've never met. 1 guy drove about 4-5hours, the other drove 8.
The list goes on and on, but these are some I didn't see others list. lol
