Okay, let's go over some basic points on which to base this analysis;
- Obviously Meat with 95% accuracy will beat everything else assuming you're not making inefficient swaps to achieve this. Equally, sushi is not always going to be best but it can be sometimes and in other situations is a perfectly viable option.
- Polearm is superior to GKT on anything that isn't really tough. On anything really tough, you need accuracy. Your sources are gear, sushi or pizza.
- SAM has a WS/TP ratio of ~65:35 or so on mobs you engage fulltime (and yes I have proof of this and this is self-tested before you say anything).
- Tachi: Gekko, your main WS, has a large attack/pdif boost largely making the extra Attack irrelevant
during the WS phase.
1. Accuracy from gear - often means giving up other offensive stats. You can be giving up large quantities of attack (foragers => cuch) or Haste (Turban => Ace's Helm etc).
2. Accuracy from food - you are only giving up TP-phase Attack.
Essentially, if you make any significant sacrifices while eating meat, pizza is better. If you make any significant sacrifices while eating pizza, sushi is better. This is different on a few very high level/high def mobs, but sushi as a whole is a perfectly valid choice depending on the situation. Askar is then either helping your xhit or giving you 2% DA which is aiding your WS frequency (which nothing from Haubergeon does if you don't need the accuracy).
"mediocre" gear > having gear and not knowing how to use it like some of your kind (Prudence Torque).
