Helped clear my head up among other things. :)

when i used to live in bessemer city, there was a tornado on the middle school side of the train tracks (in the rich neighborhood XD) edit: also, season 3 recap of rupaul's drag race tonight~ I haven't seen a hurricane yet. Though been close enough that we were getting warnings a couple of times. Oh and a typhoon warning once. Also been fascinated with bad weather like that since... um I was like 4 and we had a really really bad rain/lightning storm. Lots of flooding power out everywhere several bolts hitting close enough to see whereish. And omg rolling thunder. And remembering my dad having to go thru a crawl space to get to the garage because the door was electric and there wasn't a regular door leading to the house and that's where the breakers were.

I was in Hurricane Katrina, no electricity for 2 weeks. Ugh torture. Tree fell on the house. Not a good year.

Do you live in Louisiana or did you go to school there? I had a friend who went to Tulane and had to evacuate. Mississippi, Louisiana isn't the only place that was affected.. whether the news decided to say anything or not.
We just handled it a lot better than Louisiana and its dumbass mayor/governorwhatever.
