Don't feel bad, I used to be on Bahamut>Kujata/Ramuh (had two chars).

I went to Kujata from Bahamut only because a handful of my RL friends and a cousin of mine were on there. When I got there though it was terrible; almost nobody offered to help 'cept Foulei and one other person. Then one day I got fed up and left. I had another character on Ramuh (rustytiger) I was messing around with anyways so I deleted my other character on Kujata since you couldn't transfer characters at the time. And since I didn't know anyone on either Bahamut or Ramuh I figured it was time for a fresh start.

Ironically I am on Ramuh and I have to concur. The only reason Foulei and I are able to accomplish anything is because we're with a good group of friends, so unless you know people it is very hard to do anything on Ramuh as opposed to any stranger going out of their way to help out. For example it took me almost 3 years to finish CoP; went through two static groups, both of which broke up due to various reasons, and the third static we completed CoP in a few months.

Plus I think with everything condensing in groups as well as the upcoming updates we may see more things happening here on Ramuh. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope.

Maybe, perhaps, changing servers would be an option if things get a little more downhill, but as a last resort.

Unfortunately this is very true also on Ramuh :( If I haddn't signed up with the group I'm with all those years ago I would've changed servers. It's been getting less and less to where people will go out of their way to help out, and more less of good Linkshells too that are not affected by corruption. I'm not gonna point names of LS', but one group did CoP in under 2 weeks that I was with and when I asked for help what did they say? "We're tired of CoP to help. Perhaps you can find people to help you."

Pretty much the best thing as you said is finding the right group to be with devoid of any negative aspects as much as possible.

And yes the economy is horrid here :( especially for upcoming crafters like me who have to do multiple things just to make money. I miss those times where just farming alone would keep you stable, not so much now these days on Ramuh :(

I myself do my best to help out people here out of the blue and at times they're rather surprised I would offer help. I do it to set an example, that's all.

I'm not trying to speak ill of our server but Rowland and Citag do speak the truth about it however. It DOES get easier if your with a good group of people, rest assured.

Anyone got any tips for feeling low? :< bah.

As punishment I think Mytoy should have to camp some NM's for me while I afk and let items drop to me, what exactly I dont know I will make a list.

I always tend to distract myself when I'm feeling low, I distract myself by being around other people and pretending to be happy and then, it takes a while, but I can forget about being low - I think I'm one of the lucky few who can distract myself and compartmentalize well though.

No, talking about that. Seems this week is a week of losses. It sucks! Your brother will have someone to play with, though. All dogs and little brothers go to heaven!

and mentally really, fiancee and i broke up saturday, wasn't mutual at all lol :c just feeling kind of down about it.

Best thing to do is take things one day at a time. Do take heart into the good times you have had together and if you do want to work things out when things cool down, great, if not, it was probably meant to be. Spend time with friends and family as much as you can to in this time. It does help alot when you keep yourself distracted mentally this way, at least in my experiences.
