FFXI LGBT Community, Who Are You?

I started as RDM back in 2004.^^ I was 14 years old LOL~

Very early on, I decided the coolest job ever was SMN. I worked sooooo hard to get my avatars, until I found out you couldn't get Fenrir without having a high level job (this was before Diabolos). I sadly laid aside my level 20 SMN and went back to RDM, taking it all the way to 75 as my first. Along the way I absolutely fell in love with it; it's now my overall favorite.^^

After finally collecting my avatars, I excitedly leveled SMN almost all the way to 70, when I stopped to pursue my Yinyang Robe. Unfortunately, this endeavor ended up taking me almost 2 whole years - before I started college last year, I could only ever play once or twice a week because of homework and studying (standardized tests ftl).

In the meantime, I found another joy in playing BRD. :D It was my 2nd 75 and it's a good thing I like it, 'cause I'm pretty much always BRD. XD Even though I've put much more work into my RDM. ._.;

Last summer, I finally got Shikigami Weapon to drop my robe. :3 I claimed it myself and took care of the links while my awesome brother tanked it on his DRG and my amazing friend healed. Love them so much for that day; it was nice for everything to just fall into place for once.^^ Took SMN to 75 shortly after~

THF is my 4th and most recent 75. Still working on getting it geared, seeing as I've always played mages. XD I love the job for its fast pace. :) Hopefully I'll have TH4 soon !

Right now I'm leveling SCH to 49 to use as a sub for my WHM (currently at 45). Really enjoying both jobs so far, can't wait for WHM75. :D We'll see about 99. >_>; Definitely doing RDM99 before anything else lol

Edit: I started on PS2 too ! :D Only reason I'm on PC now is because I moved into a dorm and left the PS2 at home. XD I would be hopelessly lost without my USB peripheral controller. o_o

Blu onry. Don't level it honestly unless you have blm Sam rdm pld and dej 75 and your so bored with the game you need a job that has 0 purpose for a thing endgame or not like I'm talking even what were good at other jobs are better then don't level it. Also don't level it if you don't have cop done, I'm on phone can't check if you do x.x. Don't level blu!!!!! /wrists. I wish someone had told me

I disagree. BLU was an absolute joy to level. I loved every minute of it and enjoy it greatly to this day.

I know setokaiba doesn't, a few others escaping me and this guy was fairly new to the thread I thought... Anyways even with cop you will still be disappointed by blu, but its not possible to have even a kind of allright blue msgr without sea. I know I sound a bit harsh but I can't think of a single job in game less useful than the best blu, and most blu on my server anyways fail x.x so gear and merit dependant.

I hate UFO CATCHER ;-; it's stealin all my money on Yakuza 3 I just want Kitty Cat (Calico) I have only 5M ¥ left xD looks like I'm gonna be stuck for awhile~

Blu was very hard to level as a first 75. You get asked some pretty strange sub requests and so mp dependant, mp drainkiss is very hit and miss, blu won't come near to the 1k + pentas Sam and drg vs pull out. I suppose the first is the hardest, and since I have no fond memories that makes me bias. If you do level it I hope its easier for you buy I really strongly advising a more consistent job.

hahaha that wasn't a jab at anyone. actually, i might have more 75's but i can't STAND the level grind. i need more excitement. i can party for a couple hours then i have to do something else, unless the pt kicks ***. it gets way too monotonous. i don't know how they are going to do this level 99 crap - if it's simply a case where you exp just the same, (and by level 98 have 1,000,000 TNL) i think i will scream and cry. i have a feeling it will be just like this though!

i also started on ps2, july 2004. i had never even heard of ffxi until then. i was a NES/SNES kid and then things happened like... puberty and driving and proms so i went about a decade without video games entirely. frikkin MMORPG!

haha, Ry or Ryan works. And good luck with your arm pain. Like I said, any quality massage therapist should be able to help you out. Might take a few sessions to see any long term results, but it can be done!

I'm not trying to start a war but in endgame BLU will run out of MP without at least 5 mp/tic refresh or they'll need to conserve mp and slash they're damage output. Even with SA cannonball the most you can get without a smn who is bus predator clawsing, brd marching or rdm doing... Rdm stuff is 3mp/tic some people without regional, relic body or the spells to make refresh get 0! Its very dependant on support which is busy with the more reliable DDs, and its soloing is highly based on luck depending on what your soloing. I'm not saying its not fun to score an 1860 cannonball on armed gears but for most situations it is jus kind of a wannabe. /self-loathing done

Hey everyone! I'm sure no one missed me this weekend (DON'T LIE!!! lol) How is everyone?
Currently Xyclo is a lvl 75 Pup and Blu with a 67 War and a 62 RDM on the way.

I'd say my proudest job is my puppetmaster, I may not be fully geared for the job but I'm so proud of soloing it all the way! I also enjoy the variety of things you can do by switching your sub and alternating between all the frames and heads of the automaton.

Blue Mage was my first to 75, so I'm very proud of my accomplishments as a gimp blue mage :P. The one only real thing I like about BLue Mage is the Breath spells.

But yeah... ^^ Pup all zee way~ ^^v

How do you think I feel? Only way I get to use Pup in endgame is because I retired my bluemage. At least BLU's are more liked in Endgame....

I have a blanket that I got when I was born that I named "Big Arrow" because it was so colorful and all the stuffing went into the corner of it so i always used to cuddle up to that corner like a stuffy (and suck my thumb til I was like 7). Unfortunately I developed an allergy to it so now he sleeps in my closet x.x Im not extremely allergic so if im feeling sad I still go grab it <3

Nah I didn't take it as a jab, I'm a horrible exp ***, lol. I just have a lot of fun meeting people through means of EXP.
And the jobs is just the joy of playing the game and being able to try different things.
