»eant you weren't attracted to Asians and only happened to phrase it in a racist way.
But you're saying what you actually think is that an entire race of people is unfit to be nurses ?
That's much worse. :( Probably something safer kept to yourself.
Omfg.... chill out man. Your misreading the statement. No where in that sentence do I use the word unfit now do I? No where do i say the entire race?- so don't put words in my mouth?
Reading is hard. Also, it's a freaking joke related to character of the job in the medical community so if you have no experience with RN's, particularly gay male rns.
Anyways its 4am im NOT going to discuss this further. Gnite yall.
No.
First you say that "gay nurses are the worst" and then follow up with "They are usually asian/phillipino" as your explanation for why. Didn't mean all of them? Then your statement is reduced to "gay nurses are the worst, they are usually asian/phillipino and I know some who were bad for the 'character of the job in the medical community' (this may well be the biggest cop out ever) so I'll just go ahead and make a sweeping generalization and then argue when someone looks at me funny because the words I chose sound racist."
My first post was meant as a joke; I didn't think you were serious until you revealed that you were. You have nothing to blame but your own word choice at this point. Say what you mean or people will assume you mean what you say.

I'll post what i like.
Not to worry, I think everyone on this website knows that. You're clearly very educated and accomplished; your opinion is valuable and there's nothing wrong with being proud of that. I just think sometimes you don't see how you come across to others. As an example, you seem incapable of carrying on a conversation without constantly trying to one-up everyone else. A high opinion of the self is a positive thing insofar as it does not become a disdain for the opinions of others; it's at this point that the line blurs between healthy self-confidence and childish egocentrism.
Honestly it's just been something to put up with until now, but one of my best friends is a nurse and what you said was pretty uncool. :/ Pet peeve.
