Ok so the oscars were boring. I did like Jennifer Lopez's dress. She really looks amazing for her age and 2 kids.

ON a serious note! A gay couple or lesbian couple "can" have a child. that is genetically theirs. Its just not legal here in the US i believe, but has be done in Italy i know for sure.

I dunno a child is a lot of responsibility. I don't think i could make those sacrifices.

its easier in the case of two men since males posses both sex chromosomes.

Umm basically u extract the genetic material from the unfertilized ovum. replace with the genetic material from one of the male parents.

in the case of lesbian its a different process. they do a procedure known as haploidisation, which is kinda complicated.

Both are highly controversial, so cannot be done in the US.

it has gimme a sec to find it. EDIT: what i recall is that the embryologist was disclosed but the parents wernt. because of the risks that resulted from Dolly and the cats.

Well #1 it wouldnt be in the NIH. NIH is US based org. Secondly the embryologist wouldnt disclose the parents because of the risks of the child dieing by 10(or some random age) etc...

Personally. I think it was attempted, but it wasn't published further, basically the offspring didn't live long enough or some other complications.
