I understand it to a point. I get that it's what they enjoy doing and what not.
I don't however understand (and this isn't just with Drag queens) why they refer to each other as girls.
That's one of the things about some gay men that bug me. You're not a girl, I'm not a girl, don't call me one.

90% of the time get a drag queen to host, who dresses provocatively, and puts on a trashy, slutty, promiscuous persona.

I can't say I understand it fully either, but I guess it's like a persona thing? I've watched the show and they don't refer to each other as female when they're out of costume.
I just know they're hilarious and beautiful and I can appreciate what they do from an artist's standpoint.

I can see where you're coming from though since it's such a controversial issue that sparks so much hate from the homophobes. Like they judge the LGBT community just based on drag and things like that, but that's just kinda silly and ignorant on their part. I mean, it's like eating an orange and deciding you hate it, so all fruits must be yucky... okay maybe fruits wasn't the best example >__>

I feel it's a method of expression, just like dance/acting/whatever. I would say though it's about as constructive for lgbt rights as pride parades are (which, compared to other methods of education, is little to none at all and sometimes counterproductive depending...). I don't mind it though. Went to a dance club with a friend in drag, had fun, that's all that matters.
I didn't get the "she" thing either... but whatever I'll roll with it... just don't call me she okay..

I've seen Morgan and Delta live. Morgan actually host a show every saturday near me(and at times previous contestants from RPDR join in) Morgan performing is great!!! She's a great entertainer.

Drag is an illusory representation and interpretation of gender culture. It depicts men and women of all ages and ethnicities. Not all drag artists are part of the LGBTblahblah alphabet soup, and not all drag deserves the criticism that ends up targeting the art as a whole.
Good drag artists are entertaining in the way that a lot of comedians are entertaining. I don't know what kind of unskilled/unimaginative show you saw, but it would have to be pretty uninspired to be on par with your racism analogy.
