Why Is Barone Coraza Still Pricey?

I have been pondering over this question since i saw a Barone Coraza in someones Bazaar for 800k

When ACP was released the price for certain peices of armour started to decline based on the fact u could get better stats if not the same stats on a peice of armour but for free.

Current prices on Asura (Feb 19th 2010)

Haubergeon 120k
Hauberk 110k
Scorpion Harness 100k

My question is, if these main DD body peices dropped in price because of ACP why is the Barone Coraza still around 600-700k?
Since the Nuevo Coselete gives u better stats for Penta and u can add your own att acc or w/e u want to it

cause the expansion costs 10 dollars and alotta leg work

but you raise a good point, id imagine it should be down to 400k+- by now

but whatever glad im not drg ^^

If i had to take a wild stab at it...

TP Bonus? Still get the tp even if jump does zero dmg? according to wiki and also too, the cost to make one, craft gotta try to break even, close to break even or make some profit.

Again, i know not for certain, just a wild guess.

Costs 177k to make a SH if u dont HQ u stand to lose gil instead of make it, same can be said for the Hauby and berk.

Yet the NQ barone is still raking in 280k

Barone Body is strictly for Jump TP, excellent with Barone Legs and Skystrider+Supremacy Earring combo.

Not as much of a loss if you NQ. Even less of a loss if you break. Losing 177k worth of mats < losing 800k worth of mats. Even losing one of the 300k mats would make the crafter curl up in the fetal position or flip a table.

Edit: It's at 1m on Ramuh. ~180k profit.

combine the earing, the skystrider, barone legs and body, and it still isnt enough to make up for an extra swing adn the TP is then wasted.

so your better off with higher dmg polearm, and better pieces in all those slots to improve your jump dmg. not tp gained.

SH on my server is 60k :( you're lucky its 100k!

I know nothing about crafting really i was just curious about the price, glad we got that cleard up tho :)

Oh my.....

Personally I'd use Barone for Jump macro and also, it's a nice piece to idle in.. It has a 2 HP Regen, combo that up with Orochi Nodowa, and if you have a Sol Cap, which I do, you'll get a constant 4 HP regen, which isn't too bad to have if you're footing it across a zone or your merit pt takes a short break. I do wish it was cheaper, though XD 800k is a lot to pay for 2 HP regen.. Which is the only real reason I'd want one.. I have Pahluwan and Askar body's for DRG, so I wouldn't buy one for full-time purposes.

In the past month I've lost 4-5 angel skins on breaks... how many tables do you think I've flipped? :(

Note, even though it's listed on here as 280k profit, the actual price of the moly sheet is way off (25k vs ~300k), also two O ingots which you need to make the chain costs 500k, not the 300k it lists. So that 280k profit is really something like a 200k loss.
