basically post what builds your currently working on. like im working on making a 5 hit build on my drk atm using /sam. to get it i need store TP 39 which i would get from:

spaghetti cabonara 6
rajas ring 5
rose strap 4
/sam 15
askar body 5
echophoria ring 1
and a 528 delay weapon.

When I get gil, I really need to make a -MDT set for my general jobs, and more specific gear for my DNC.
Need Merman's Rings/Earrings/Harness set Whenever I get around to meritting more, I need to buy a Ltn. Sash... That's pretty much it, I'll use it to swap in when getting hammered by a -ga spell on all of my jobs. Maaaybe a Hexerexi(sp?) cape... Sometime when they're up on the AH I need the special job-specific earrings that have damage taken at 30% health.... If I do as well as I think I will as BLU in Nyzul Isle, I'll finish my Firespit(INT) build and get started on an Eyes on Me(CHR) build. Oh yeah, and I gotta finish my MND build as well.
Bah, I just read Ninian's post, guess I should be more specific. INT build: Missing a Vulcan's and Neptune's Staff. CHR build: I need a Jester's Cape+1 and 2 Light Rings to start out. MND build: Just 2 Aqua Rings. Breath Build: Axe grip, Alky's, Gigant Mantle So yeah, and that's just starting out for me... 5 hit rng build!
For my current weapon dly would require +32 store tp... /sam rose strap skadi/enkidu legs raja Hmmm well my blu since I don't really use it for magic dmg pretty much just doing more math and optimizing my magic hammer build. Suprised to find already most the MAB gear I have is useless compared to ok mnd gear lol.
Um also enkidu hands and SNM head for big 3. Vbelt for tp builds of all my melees. Ws for my thf. Like um more heca gear lol. blm and rdm I'm pretty satisified. Could use more -pdt once I get it into spellcast for idling and refresh body for rdm. Especially a defending ring lol An enfeebling skill/int build of 330/130+ Just... not sure how to hit it when not casting Ice spells yet.
I want to test if it works better then full out 352 enfeebling/w/eint QD setup for Cor

You won't hit anything worth making a build for with that complete lack of accuracy and the tradeoffs aren't worth the 5hit itself <_<
5hit however IS a good thing situationally. Look into things like Aurum Cuirass instead of things like Bushido Cape though... Leviathan.Leonstrife said: kk now whats wrong with it... But the only acc ive lost is from not using a hauberk and I got diabolic eye. Plus there is Hasso and every time I get buffed from a corsair or bard they refuse to give me anything but att and acc. the aurum suggestion is good and would give me my back piece back but it seems like alot of work to get just 6 more acc in the build and abyss cape seems bleak to obtain since idk anyone that does CoP dynamis at a decent rate on leviathan.
Which is -16~ accuracy (pretty hefty); no Cuch Mantle/7acc ring/PCC/Pizza etc.

Camping vbelt for my WAR tp, pld tp, and pld flash and shadow sets is making me hate life
According to ffxi calculator the 5 hit build would give me a 72.5% hit rate vs birds after my merits and before buffs.
hasso would give me 77.5% diabolic eye without hasso would give 82.5% (87.5% with) madrigal II without either gives 87.5% (with hasso 92%) souleater on its own gives a flat 85% This was with full scythe merits which I got and a abyssal earring. I didnt include absorb acc or absorb dex in this since that would piss people off to use on birds but acc would cap if i were to use them with these. So basically if your a drk, that doesn't use magic, doing nothing but birds, and didn't merit your scythe, this build would be difficult to pull off. Otherwise it seems fairly solid. 95% with a 6 hit would completely destroy your 5hit anytime.

with the 5 hit build 95% hit rate will occour with hasso. diabolic eye and madrigal II being all on at the same time. better yet. if one were to switch out dusk gloves for chaos hands +1 you get 95% without diabolic eye on. or wearing a o-hat for the head piece. In fact switching out any haste slot for acc seems to give 95% with the combo. Didn't read most of that convo, but switching out haste? really? >.>
well to shave off an entire hit off an entire hit to 100% and the point of most haste builds is to get to 100% faster your still meeting your goal if not better what with not having to wait another 7.2 secs according to the calculator. getting rid of the gloves (4 haste) adds back .3 secs. more then a fair trade imo. also this is just vs birds. drks still have absorb acc and absorb dex to use against everything else (+18 absorbed) which together is more then triple what o-hat gives so you dont really have to get rid of it in most cases but the extreme.
