Today is the anniversary of the 9/11 of FFXI! Hard to believe it's been a year already, guess thats what you get for duping, eh?
On an unrelated note I stopped playing FFXI nearly a year ago and I'm reeeeeeally feeling to re-activate my character!!!

Oh right, my bad.. its just when all of the banning went down I heard people using that comparison alot so I just assumed....
In that case, I rescind my previous comparison. Slightly off topic again, but how much has the game changed over the last year anyways? I think it depends on your server. Ragnarok was barely affected by the dupe bannings so it hasn't really changed much in our case to my knowledge.

Political opinions aside, I think it's in poor taste to compare a trivial event in a video game to something like 9/11. If he compared it to the earthquake in Haiti, or the Tsunami, this thread would easily have turned into a lockable Politics thread. But because it's only 9/11, people don't seem to care. It's your opinion, but in my opinion, it's poor taste. I'm not trying to be "PC," I just respect the dead.
