Immature Camping

Now, I just want people opinion on this.
Now I am camping a NM for crafting all day. Now this guy name Comcom camping too. Thing is, he mad freaky. Im a whm, while he a rdm. I OUTCLAIMED HIM LIKE 3 times! and What he do. He calls me a noob, when he is gearless and cant claim, and examine spams me. Now he said he going report me for hacking even tho i dont think dia is a hack.

My question is if you were in my position what would you do?

BTW THE RDM IS 75!
By means of gearless, hardly any gear on,
and he got his ls members on me last night...and still i outclaimed them, even tho i was far away and they didnt see me. lol

Laugh, continue camping and craft.
Also add to /blist.
Then report for harassment.

/blist add name

Blacklist him, and warn your LS mates of his stupidity level.

And rub his face in it if you get the drop. Make sure to do that part.

Thats what i did, and he like keep laughing u get ban yes yes -.- now im here and he went off to nyzul and sended 2 his ls members here. -.-

Just ignore it. Can't believe people don't know this, you won't always win at claiming. When you don't, just accept it and move on, no need to whine if you lose it, no need to rub it in if you get it. Not speaking about you of course, OP, just about people in general.

GM him right back for harrasment, and blist. Make sure you craft with /blockaid on, case he trys to *** your synthing.

Simple answer is this:

No matter what he says or threatens to do, if you call a GM they're only ever going to tell you that they will look into it and to please feel free to use the /blacklist function. They will then offer to instruct you in its proper use to receive maximum enjoyment from no longer having to read text from the whiny little tosser. They will then wish you a pleasant (insert time of day here).

While I appreciate the need to vent your problems, as often people do in an effort to make sure they don't do something in-game that they may later regret, keep in mind that everyone in FFXI will have the need (at least once) to use the blacklist function. Square Enix didn't want the tagline for this MMO to be "Final Fantasy XI: Come for the immersion in a thrilling new fantasy world with team building social interactions, stay for the personal torment!" ... Hence the ability to ignore anyone who makes you feel like you need a hug.

every additional claim id do the following in this order:
/laugh
/slap
/s how u like them apples ***?
/slap
/laugh
/s dia bot worked for me!

even joking about having a bot can get you a warning on your account

Just ignore it. blist him if you have to. Sooner or later he'll get bored with not getting a response out of you and leave. Or he'll have to log off, and you can camp in peace.

Why not try being nice about it, this game is very stressful for new people starting out, and he's obviously a newb rdm getting stressed to hell trying to get this item and he's just taking his frustration out on you, very immature I must say, but then again, we all done silly things.

Try organize a time when your not camping the NM to let him camp it, or apoligize and say I'm sorry (even when there calling you a newb, its not you he's angry at, its the game) but I need the item too, or say how long you'll be camping it for.

Generally, just be nice, this game is stressful, if he is still rude, blacklist him. Take care :)~

Unless I'm being wooooooooshed.. that'll actually land you a GM also. Same as spamming check on someone. Its all considered harassment.

same happen to me when i used to camp mee deggi the punisher back then it wasnt r/ex and i would camp it all day as thf/Bst to make gil for things. i needed. some guy got mad cuz he cant claim and bitched at me saying im cheating lol. i just sent a gm on him. then sent to hes dbox 1000 pebbles with my ppl. and he never bother me again lol. try it out.

I recently (like a few months ago) found out you can filter out examine messages. Which makes me a happy Tarutaru.

lolz empty threats. It's pretty sad when a WHM/RDM can cast faster then someone with RDM as a main job seeing as how RDM gets Fast Cast III and stuff, and with Dia of all things.

sounds like maybe he was running a bot and it did not work. you can pull and he cant he can only bot not a real gamer just a posser. and his LS members are botters to. or they are realy dumb.
