Iv always fished manta to make my gil but iv been wondering, are there any other areas you can fish up mobs that drop something worth while to sell for gil. perhaps in the new areas such as zones in the past

i was thinking about testing some areas like castle o s pond and glacier s ponds too who knows might find something and have no competition

I couldn't find any on wiki. However there is like no fishing info at all for castle Oztroja [ s] or saur [ s] and not much for glacier.

My bad. I didn't realize there were two different NMs on the manaclipper.

I was thinking about this NM which is not fished up.

the other fished up one only drop urugnite shell, 10k drop but the regular ones drop them too.

you could try fishing orobon, not sure what the lure is worth though.
