- Casting Time

I think I have read somewhere that there is a cap to - song casting, just can't remember where I found it. I have manteel and minstrels, and one -5 casting time dagger. I would like to get one more of these, r.pumps, and fastcast earring, but don't know if it ever caps.

50% is cap.

fastcast doesn't do anything for casting time. Just makes your recast timers shorter.

Why do you think RDM's can Fire off a Teleport- spell at 50% while WHM's are still trying to get to 70%?

Fast cast cuts cast time down, and then lowers recast by 50% of the Fast Cast.


10% Fast Cast would mean you cast your spells 10% sooner, and your recast timers would get a similar effect to 5% haste.

but uses the fast cast moogle hat, and some dagger that is augmented to reduce cast time, her casting ballad is like a blm casting stun.

Singing speed is pretty nuts right now with minstrels' and manteel as it is, but my meripo SAMs continue to get better, and birds continue to blow up. Pretty tough keeping up with it, expecially when my son starts crying. lol

The 50% Recast Time reduction cannot be reached with Fast Cast alone.
