8/10 Very upbeat and fun. I like my songs dark/evil and epic. :< Sadly it's repetitive, but you only hear it for like 30seconds when you fight her in the game anyway.
I highly enjoyed Golden Sun and still have a copy of it. Sadly, I never played the sequel. However, it sounds more adventurous than battle-related. I think I'll give it a mere 7/10.
Edit: Got beat to the punch, so for Fire Emblem, I'll bump a 9/10 on it. Flowing, quick. Simply put, I'm ready to defend myself.

Eh... kind of slow. I've never played Xenogears- is it one of those "You have to be there" type songs, where it just sounds better in context? Like, visuals, dialogue going on at that moment, whatever? 7/10
To out-obscure Ninian
My favorite battle track from my favorite Fire Emblem game.
I liked Xenosaga, but that particular piece doesn't do much for me ._.
So, 5/10. Mostly cause I liked Xenosaga. >.>
Lunar is old school. I want another one!
6/10 i like it but i guess you have to associate a certain battle or memory with it to truly appreciate most of these songs.
this is probably very true. most of these i am unfamiliar with. the FFVII boss theme is probably of the the first real ones that pumped me up for a fight. same with the xenogears one. 9/10 on both XD
Someone elses turn! Waiting a few more posts before posting a good one.
ff7 fanboy 4 lyfe! i loved the 7 soundtrack myself. not my favorite track from the game, but a solid 7.5+/10
old. i still <3 these games though. shining in the darkness, shining force 1&2. this is from sega mega drive methinks. the genesis version wasnt as clear as this one.
i'm a ff7 fanboy myself.
that's some oldschool mono. never played that i don't think, but 6/10.
(it's so old i can't remember not having the quality we have today)
Beseiged time so posting this one earlier than anticipated.
7.5/10. It's nice - but I always see "battle themes" as a little quicker paced and...well, violent. Can't deny it's a good tune though, sticks in the head.
Die, Gilgamesh, die! D:
(Ninja-editted 'cause I was slow posting and the video above changed...)
Not bad! I thought the electric guitar was a little cheesy, but overall I liked it~ 7/10
This was the first game I thought of when I was thinking about battle music. The entire OST has *so* many solid tracks, but this is one of my favorites.
