FFXIAH Server Update 2026

Google Pixel, built-in Chrome.

Still works fine for any other site, just not for FFXIAH for some reason.

I am on a pixel to but tapping to zoom has never worked for me. I have always had to stretch and pinch.

Do you have the same issue on other websitea? For me it worked fine until before the site was moved to the new server (approximately)

I mean maybe it's just a coincidence and something else happened pixel-side that stopped the double tap zoom from working just on ffxiah?
Maybe. It still works for any other website for me though.


It works here as well if I force the specific option from the accessibility menu (it's not exactly the same but it's similar)

I was referring specifically to here, here i have always needed to pinch and stretch (though seems scragg already fixed it~)

Does this mean linkshells will work on the site again? Along with uploading of pics? What about the long lost online map site that used to exist? (no I've not tested any of this yet, I'm just asking)

what's wrong with uploading pics? people have been doing it fine just look at the recent shots there are new ones.

Behaviour is a little different.
It's the same as the forced "double tap to zoom" that you can force with the Accessibility options.


Before:
Double tap to zoom. You could keep pressing on the second tap and then slide the finger up or down to further adjust the zoom level

Now: (same as the forced accessibility setting)
Double tap for a single zoom.
Double tap again to go back.


It's not the same buuuut it's good enough I guess, I won't complain.

It's still not updating sales very well

Like it's querying/scraping multiple hours behind or missing half the queries/scrapes.

I have noticed that any item links that contain an apostrophe in the name display as Item Not Found!
for example.

I'd assume it's also/more browser specific. I have a Galaxy S24 with Firefox, and it works fine for me.

Seems that some sales are severely behind. Oddly noticed this with Earth Spirit pact on Fenrir as last sale listed on FFXIAH was on May 25th but in-game shows multiple sales after:

some items are nearly a month behind, if you look at like "kraken club" on asura

Bug was found and fixed.


This still exists, it's used for search and auto approval. Anything not auto approved still subject to manual approval as usual. Nothing is denied without a human.

RSS feed is fixed, SE changed the URL.

hey devs I found a typo

when you go to register a new character but it hasn't had an AH transaction yet you get this message:

"Jeuno" is typoed but also you could just say "at the AH" now

The site needs another top forum posts section on the front page.

The problem the site currently has, is that the most recent posts (9 posts) is the most important part of the forum / site (outside of sales) and directs most peoples attention. It's been swamped by chat topics for many years.

If you have a site that has threads such as in-depth job guides, mods, created programs, shared artworks and other creative things that take a huge amount of effort to make and update they need to get more attention or people will stop sharing them here.

A second most recent topics showcase, for threads marked at creation as guides / mods / programs / creative work would incentivize people to do these things and share them here. This would ultimately benefit the site, cause people are putting effort into valuable content that are showcased here.

If someone puts days or weeks into something, and it's pushed off the most recent list in an hour cause people are arguing about random stuff they aren't gonna do that again cause very few people will even see it.

Since the update, selecting a different server from the drop down does not switch the current page to the new server, and it's not possible to refresh to switch to new server.

If you are viewing an item, switch to a different server, the item stays on the old server even with a hard refresh (ctrl+shift+r).

Page seems to be cached with the original server and will only show the new server after the cache expires.

Previously selecting a different server would automatically refresh the current page with the new server.

Yesterday I was trying to add items to a "Set" and it was working fine for everything except for "Adamantite Armor". I tried all possible wildcards but the engine just wasn't finding the item.
And yet, the item is absolutely present in the DB. I doublechecked for typos countless times but I couldn't find anything

I agree we could do without the top player and linkshell sections and mix things up a bit.

Database did a weird jump again.

Last time it lost 20k randomly, now it's up 50k randomly.

Which numbers were/are "more accurate"
(I assume its back to correct now. Coming down from 130k during freeplay)

We got the best numbers.
Some people, bright people, the smartest people say they're the biggest database they've ever seen.
