Aye, haven't come to a good way to fix this.
Some ideas I have is look if we get the message on zone (within 10-15 seconds) and sync it if it appears or mark it expired/whatever if missing.

I could map it to when it opens but it relies on the group who see it initally runs the addon which isn't bulletproof.

Been spending most evenings this week with https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/58756/vana-timecom-vanadiel-timers-and-schedules/#3773260 but have plans to sit down with this and some minor fixes to the addon and if I'm really bored - rewrite the discord bot.

Rewritten the discord bot completely. This update introduces the following functionality. If you already have the bot invited to your server/s, you don't need to do anything - But verify your configs (/config) is setup properly. The bot needs "Manage Messages" permission in the channel he needs to work in. I.e if you setup different channels for NM and ???.

  • (OPT-IN): It will get updates as soon as a report is arriving to the database for near real-time updates on NM and ??? reports. It will remember the posts for next point.

  • When a NM is marked with Tod or a ??? is 72hrs or older it will clear up old messages if they still exist (if a user/admin already deleted nothing will happen).

  • Streamlined the /config to use a button and form panel for a better UX. The config is limited to admins so curious george members can't screw with the alert settings.
