PoL Wont Connect After Spetember Version Update

Since the update when logging in, I can no longer log into FFXI through PoL, it wont connect. I usually use windower, but even when i tried to launch vanilla PoL it wont connect. Everything else is working completely normal.

Any Advice?

Maybe try a VPN, there's a spate of other threads about this issue which seems to crop up from time to time.

OP were you able to resolve this? Having the same issue since the update. I was able to get in once but connection timed out almost immediately. No luck today either

Try a network reset, maybe it'll work.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue since the September update. I'm getting timeouts/POL errors at random points between initial login and character selection. If I keep trying I can eventually get into the game, and after that everything is fine as long as I don't log out. For it to be so sporadic, there's got to be a network issue affecting a specific route to the POL servers. Curious to know the location/ISP of anyone else having this issue, I'm on the US east coast using Comcast.

Had to start using a VPN about 6 months ago. No issues since.
