The Volte blue mage is among the worst of all the Wave 3 Volte Nms. Between its status debuffs, including petrification, and massive DPS output it needs to be silenced pronto and stay that way, and even then it can still kill people if it turns away from the tank just by skillchaining them. It's just the same experience as wave 3 NMs. They just hit...really...freakin...HARD!

Did they add ilvl 135 option to Limbus? How many points for full clear vs 130?
Heaven forbid anyone form a real party to fight the SMN with some combo of RUN/WHM/BRD/COR to give resistance/Meva to the element of the day ;p

If they added a moogle near the entrance this would make a lot more sense. As of right now its bring a NM focused group or a chest focused group. This was kind of a loaded update...you know...for post-TVR FFXI standards.
The fact that you can form an effective group to fight any of the individual NMs isn't the point. They're randomized between all 22 jobs, and some of the jobs are a lot more problematic to fight than others, and there doesn't appear to be any personal reward attached to killing them. Unless I'm mistaken from reviewing everything that's been said to this point, the reward for killing them is server wide on the following conquest tally. There is no incentive to kill them yourself when somebody else is probably just gonna do it for you.
Fighting Volte Nms is one of the fastest ways to delevel your mastery ranks. Fighting Volte Nms for no personal reward when you can just let someone else do it for you is just a stupid system. At least give us 2-3k temmy/appy points for killing them or something. It's hard to justify constant exemplar penalties without that kind of incentive.

I'm coping/hoping on getting some amount of extra points per kill on your first chest the following week.
While the rewards do seem lacking atm(nms drop nothing) it does seem like a fun challange at least Lowman/solo/duo

Glad I didn't do Limbus too hard since they released it. I knew they'd add higher ilvls and make it easier to farm currency. And they will raise it again within the next six months, probably to i140 or higher. I'm interested to see how Limbus is when they are finished with it.
This is not content you need to feel compelled to do right now. That is, unless you have literally nothing else to do with your time, then go right ahead. I know my group will be doing Limbus more, but not all the time, and we will certainly miss some weeks. Hoping for a HQ spawn that only pops up once a week ala Mireu, lol.

That's not trivial, but it's not a huge deal either.
Both solo and 50+ Mireu-style lagfest seem like they would be risky, but lowman shouldn't be terrible as long as somebody's left alive to pull out Señor Coffin at the end. Do things like Gallant and Scherzo copy to everyone if they hit a trust the same way DI works?

got bihu(BRD) to 97%. it spams lullaby, did not see any buffs but i did not try to dispel either. futhark(RUN) used elemental sforozo(their primary 1hr) The ring looks sweet imo. SIRD and DT is a very rare combination of stats you almost never see on gear together, and it's quite hard to cap -DT in some job's SIRD set, due to the options available (NIN, Taeon).
I'll reiterate that Null masque (-10), adamantite armor (-20), defending ring (-10), and now this new ring (-10) caps DT in 4 slots, which is phenomenal. Or if you value one of the main armor slots like head, still -40% DT in a set is very good and leaves a ton of space to fill out the rest of the sets needs.

But the meva on the body sucks. Jobs like RDM that got DT on emp body are laughing though.
I am wondering if it will make it into my DD tp sets and then back changed for null, but I have always liked my DT-5% capes. Hopefully augments are da or ta, can't see QA being a thing Purulent Ooze killed BRD and BLM NMs in one hit.
