Recently returned (for the second time) and wondering if there are better ways to find mercs than the ones in shouts.

Basically not sure how safe it is to hand so much gil to some random person that could just take the gil and run. Are there actual groups that do mercs that are "more" legit and at least have a reputation to make it safer?

Normally you pay at the end of the service unless its leveling, but for gear its once the item drops, you lot, then pay,then they pass.
