Everyone's shitting on the spelling mistakes and the terrible pieces, but there are a *** of AF+3/relic+3 pieces that are already good and will be even-better-good at +4.
They didn't do any kingmaking, but there's still a TON of AF/Relic that should be upgraded by anyone who gives a ***about being BIS.
You're talking about an upgrade so insignificant it's not even going to be worth the effort. It's THAT bad. It's like adding 5 damage to your REMA.
Depends on the piece. Agoge Mask, already BiS for lots of WAR WS, got 5 STR, 5 acc, 10 atk, 2% WSD. I wouldn't call that insignificant.

If there's no augment system this is dead on arrival. Forget RMT and bots spamming this, the zones will be empty.

Hoo boy. I haven't gone through the entire list, but this ***is BAD bad. Jeez, did they seriously add one singular point of stats and 0 to anything meaningful? Yikes. 2 WSD is about what the expectation was.
THF head got +3 WSD, putting it at 9% WSD and Crit Damage +5%, which makes it competitive to Nyame. Just eyeballing, but this piece looks like a potential winner for any stacked WS. Will see how the numbers shake out. Back to the list.... (wow)

The only remotely redeeming thing I can see about these is the increased eva/meva. For some people, that will be big.

I recall the green they used to use being much darker, I'm not 100% certain, but almost certain the border color is new.

I bet you it's the same color as they use for the glow on the numbers for the mog wardrobe ***. Or if it is different, it's different in the exact same way it is for, say, the blue and yellow.

Not that a ton of things are resisting a maxed out BRD in the first place, but BRD gains 40+ macc from upgrading their AF, probably a fair bit more than that.
RDM is already using like 9 pieces of their AF/relic in their BiS sets, so they just gained a ton of macc, some skill, some FC, plus having more meva in those sets.
BRD relic body was BiS for some WS, it's now even more BiS, and a huge help for people without Nyame R30 (or 25, or 20).
There's a lot of extremely good gear here and the whole thread is people hatebombing the fact that they didn't overhaul the shitty pieces. I guess that's how you roll in internet upvotes, just go along with the crowd.

The relic gloves got +57 Pet M.ACC added to them with the skill + I believe that makes them the best pet m.acc piece for SMN. Not that it's very useful...but that's the only thing I see.

Wait, so they only buffed macc/acc/atk/meva and wsdmg? most pieces Main stats and attribute bonuses are exactly the same lol.
Like monk+3 head has the same crit rate, focus enhancement, and main stats as +4, Geo relic head has the same aspir potency/pet HP boost as +3.
So if they were worth using now or nearly worth using they're a TINY bit better at +4 and if they aren't worth using they are still not worth using. They didn't even buff the DT or change things like PDT to DT on any of them.
I mean I expected 90% of them to not be good simply because of how many pieces were coming out but that's even more lazy than I imagined.

PLD relic legs got +15 evasion and +40 magic evasion which is pretty nice.
Lots of stuff got little bits of like accuracy and evasion. Hoping maybe when they release NMs and go to +5 some of this stuff will get better cos man it's pretty underwhelming atm.
I guess if content level 130 limbus is supposed to be the gear stage pre-Ody/Sortie/Empyrean+2&3 then maybe the higher content level limbus will come with gear that actually rivals some of the Odyssey and Sortie gear?

Not that it's terribly relevant but, nope. MNK head got 5 DEX, 5 AGI, 3 MND. Also meva etc.

I think every single item got a meva boost, from 25 to 40 (or 50?).
As far as whether you can wear it or not, I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news bud, but people have been wearing the +3 versions for YEARS, up to and including before this patch. So...it's gonna get worn at +4 as well.
