Established Sortie Group Looking For BRD Or COR

Established Sortie group looking for 1 member with BRD sub DRK or COR sub DRK for our melee runs.

Established group of good friends we've completed 2 primes so far. We run every weekday mon-fri at 4:30pm est. We do 9 boss hard mode unless slow on time then just regular 9 boss.

Looking for all around veteran brd or cor with good sense of humor. We get stuff done but wanna have fun doing it.

No roll only cors or sing only brds, gotta put the work in here folks. Hate to have to put that in here but thats who applies.

Yes, they do the same run 5 days a week.
Yes, they're working on their third prime weapons.
No, they don't mind; the post says they have fun doing it.

Salty about what? You might want to educate yourself on the use of the term. Anyone can run sortie every day of their life for several years if they want to. It's not hard.

I struggle to see the point though. There's nothing left to beat - the hardest content just got beat with aeonics? I mean maybe if you did horn+dagger to be an elite BRD then wanted to do a heavy dd one too.

Your opinion was clearly unwarranted in a thread where they're actively trying to play. It's obvious they enjoy the content more than you. Why bother inserting yourself just to be negative?

What exactly was the point of your post then? To me, it showed nothing except your resentment towards Sortie. It just says "I don't want to run Sortie every day, why do you?"

To try and understand the point. I get that you're triggered because doing the same thing every day 1000+ times is the best thing you can do with your life, but what's the intended result of a 3rd prime? It doesn't enable you to beat anything new or do any content faster. Even aria does nothing for v25, etc. I know you know that these are facts and they hurt your feelings, that you are salty about people finding better things to do with their lives but you didn't need to cry so hard here.

It's quite rude to just hijack someone's recruitment thread like this. If you insist on debating the point whether or not prime are worth it you could at least do it in a different thread.

It's the same as making your first prime, to ameliorate whatever job you deem worthy or favorite enough to get new toys on, to get shiny things. This is a video game, personal progression/accomplishment is a driving force for gamers, whether it's "needed" or not. If you can't fathom that or have lost your Je ne sais quoi for ffxi then I think it's in your best interest to stay on the sidelines and enjoy what you enjoy most about the game between "teaching" and "writing your phd" instead of driveling your salty nonsense on the players who are passionate and still actually having fun playing.

We do it because we find it fun. We joke and talk about everything and anything during runs. It's fun times with friends in a world where there isnt much to do.

If it is not something you find enjoyable that is fine but we still do. Is it a grind, sure! The time with friends makes it bearable.

Is it 100 runs at 70k a run for 7m for a prime for top groups now?

Not sure what you're asking. A typical 9 boss run is going to net ~80-82k muffins. So 100 runs would net ~8M sure.

Edit: you need 8.52M muffins to make a stage 5.

Forgot the numbers at the time, was thinking 1+2+4 but I remember now it's 1+2.5+5. 105 runs isn't so bad in the end then.

Which 2 primes did all the original 6 members make first?

If you could rearrange jobs a bit I might know a elite DNC who'd be interested, not sure about his sense of humor though.
