Bummer that people who bought it as pre-order paid $69.99 and now it's on mark-down to $40.79.
It's not even technically on-sale, it's just been marked down. It's still a great / sturdy plushy to own. Definitely recommend it!

I would say it's better quality than a chew toy. Here is a picture for scale. It's decent quality....but a shame that SE gouged customers on the pre-order.
 It was already near that price on amiami for pre order. SE gonna get you in the shipping. Not that big of a discount, not sure why ppl still use that store over other options

How is Amiami able to sell SE's items cheaper than the SE? I started buying up merch a while ago, then I ran into JP companies refusing to ship anywhere except the US and lost interest buying anymore.
