Nov 5th, Bonfire night :)... Kinda sad that it's not celebrated over here though Q_Q, it's one annual festival I really miss; ;

It's always amused me that they made a holiday out of it though. I mean, he broke into parliament in order to blow the place up. Granted he was unsuccessful (I think the gunpowder got wet?), but it's like, if the 9/11 terrorists had failed at destroying the twin towers, it'd be like making a holiday of that where you build some model towers and blow them up each year. Crazy.

But hey, bonfire night was great, I have some good memories of it from when I was a kid, although wiki has their dates a bit wrong, since I was born in 83:
