It was just a matter of time, of course it would get ported at some point.
Yoshi-P heavily hinted or outright said many times before it would be coming to PC eventually, it just had an exclusivity window.
Considering every other mainline Final Fantasy game is also on PC, it would be extremely unlikely this would be the one that doesn't make it.

Two DLCs is fun. We can guess one will involve Leviathan.
