Hi friends
I posted this on the Update thread but wanted it to be as visible as possible. Sortie appears to be busted. Upon entering, 5 of 6 players were thrown out. The 5 thrown out retained their plate. The 6th turned in their Ruspix plate to try again and the same thing happened except a different player stayed inside.
Wanted to put this here so nobody else ends up wasting their shiny plates.

was this the patch that they tinkered with the instance system? probably the inevitable spaghetti spillage related to that if so
Yes, the patch that was already delayed for a month because of a bug they found. Guess there was another one hiding in there.
Good news. A GM already reached out to me so they're aware of the issue.

Completely breaking, to the point the content is not usable, one of the 3 things they changed in the March patch is planned misery, not incompetence.
They changed the sortie instance system, the new TVR mission, and changes to their filter. I dont count the Ambuscade rotations, there was nothing new. Maybe you could count the Everbloom Hollow changes as a fourth. (This wont end until I'm bored of mocking it, it may be a couple days, it may be a few weeks, who knows)

(Fyi Its a joke check the dev thread) the crystal was there for me this morning after the update and my run went smoothly no issues.

Oh no, they stopped us from doing the most boring content in recent memory a 2nd time at patch day when they are implementing new entry updates. How ever will we just not care?

Perhaps it was only full parties that were affected? I'm not sure, but I do know I was chucked out twice when in a party of 6/6. it is missing as of right now. you can still get your Shiny plate though. XI's code has more spaghetti than all of Italy.

They probably wont make it work until Monday, because it's weekend and nobody work there :) Updates in Friday, what can go wrong right? :)

Unsurprising. You'd think they would have learned to roll this out on a "test" server (a small one) before implementing it everywhere, so they can iron out any unforeseen bugs with the least damage, but that would make too much sense.
Are you accusing FFXI / SE of being incompetent? The nerve.
Sortie being inaccessible is planned misery. Looks like they fixed it yesterday morning. No compensation I've found yet unfortunately;-;
