Why do you only have wotg sandy titles? Are there no titles for bastok (s) or windy (s)?

I'm only Gladiator rank in Monstrosity. Maybe you are missing some titles? Not sure. I am still missing a lot of titles like the Brown Magic ones, most ballista, all HTMB VD titles, some HNM ones, some Mog Garden, some Incursion Gramk-Droog incursion ones, etc. so I have a lot of work to do. Hopefully can reach rank 9 sometime. But yes, I just upgraded rank like two days ago.

the only difference between those are the quests (the 200g ones) like Mythril Musketeer No. 6, Fine Young Griffon, etc.

All 3 nations are there

Bastok is column 1/2
Sandy is column 3/4
Windy is column 5/6

So when we're the same rank and you haven't cleared anything on VD...something feels off.

Each rank is "X*1000 points"

There's only 40 VD titles, it takes a lot to move 7 to and 8 and twice as much to move 8 to 9. 40 VD clears are 10-20% of a rank at most.

So glad i ignored mastery ranks and now have 59 pages to catch up on to try and get more stats from my earring.

Guess I'll start by unlocking mentor finally. At least i have progress in most areas but theres an awful lot of pointless quests in this game lol.

Well the Monstrosity bots are out on Asura.

They essentially just roam and take down any mob, including the mandragoras. If you gather up mobs, they will swarm those you damaged and are unclaimed.

I decided to try Gladiator content for the first time and take on some of them. Thankfully the bots aren't programmed to attack you.

One guy gave 7k prestige, which makes this a perfect opportunity to get High Champion Gladiator rank.

Had this exchange with that guy after killing him for the 3rd time. His son is a gaming god, up all hours of the night while constantly on the move.

I don't know, I have mostly the same things. I calculated it and I have roughly 194 missing titles out of 1099 (calculated using the May 2024 data on the bg-wiki titles page) and am still Rank 8. I mostly have the crafting items (150~200k GP ones), VD clears, chocobo racing, master titles, Mog garden, Ballista, MMM, and some the conquest GP titles left (I was planning a KRT Bat run to get Conquest points more easily but I have yet to do that...). I don't have a final prime weapon and I only have one aeonic and a few mythic weapons. No relic weapons. I don't think the RMEA count matters unless it has a title associated with it.

Just passed 10 million gil drained using ampulla and went from MR7 to 8.

The "it's my kid playing" story seems popular among bots.

In 2025 those tells will get you banned faster than botting.

Rank 7 looking to get rank 8, only a little Monstrocity done and never cared for ballista much.

Was working on ROE(841 done).

Should I keep chipping away at ROE or do something else? IE title hunting or Monstorcity, or something else? Thanks.

Since you have to do everything, start with something. Do something different when you get bored.

well main concern was if anyone know if one activity is weighted more than another. Such as does title farming give more than ROE, etc.

Can only speculate. A title can be worth a lot (the finale of a whole series of content)

RoE is going to be very low, but there's a lot of them. (and a title for 1000 complete)

You want quantity over quality, do as many as fast as possible. Skill up. EXP. Collect home points, survival guides. All the trusts.

My armchair speculation without any proof whatsoever is that:

Titles are worth a point value based on their Gil cost on the title bard.

A 600g title is worth more "points" towards rank up than a 200g title.

In reality, who knows, and we'll likely never know.

I just love how if you already had pretty high mastery you end up having no feedback in the game to let you know if you are making progress or not.

I hope SE puts a withering tree at the top of Parodomo Tor. Each time you get a Mastery rank up, a leaf falls of the tree. When you reach 9, the last leaf falls. When you reach the 10, the tree dies.

Or ...a progress bar would be cool too. :)

Before the update I was rank 5. After, I was rank four. This weekend I added 21 titles(VD HTMB) and 60ish ROE and still 4 :/

Does anyone know if the rank levels up live? Or do you have to log out/on to see an update?

IIRC someone in this thread observed it happening upon zoning, and even beyond that I'm fairly certain that you don't have to log (though I don't know when exactly it updates)

I observed it when zoning. I think there have also been mentions of it updating without zoning, but I have definitely observed it not changing and then zoning and seeing it change.

It could be that it's similar to titles, where the game seems to request information, render the status menu anyway using a stale title, get updated information, and then render the correct title the next time you enter the menu, which is why sometimes your title doesn't change until you load the menu twice.

Am I correct in that you can't get ballista titles in Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba? I tried regular Ballista in Pashhow at least but it said minimum number of people 3 per side, which is hard to find. Any way to do 1-1s outside of Diorama?

To save on compulsive menu checking, here's an addon that will print your mastery rank whenever it changes based on the job info incoming packet, 0x01B.

You'll get 0x01B's on zone change and job change, and probably other times as well.

Correct, find five friends or a multiboxer who doesn't mind AFKing for an hour for you after signup. Or find five others also interested in the titles.
