Oh, also, how's the surged 15th walk - soloable? I know it's one caturae that spawns all those awful caturae one by one, thinking fulltime 50 dt/meva on a dps job and try to burn them down?
(that gives a vorseal, but I need the titles anyway, and that one looks like an absolute bear...)

I've done 15 solo it's not super pleasant but the ability to call new trusts while fighting helps.
Iirc sandworm has more predictable behavior after an update, so you can probably get tod that way. Otherwise it is a bit of a nightmare.

Can you repeat mission 2-3? I don't have Dark Dragon Slayer but I have the other ones, because I didn't specifically rotate destinations. Switch nations you can redo them, can get all 3
Or 2box it, or help someone, it's based on which zone you fight the dragon. I ended up levelling a mule on an alt account and assisting them to get title because I did the same fight twice when running through all the nation missions on my main.

Mule on an alt is a pretty clever way to do it, honestly. Might be the best way I can think of. Make it 5 mules on 5 different accounts, get rank 3 on all of them, and then you can get your own ballista team ready for those titles! (don't do it)

I got two or three of those and gave up when I saw they were temp titles that can't be set at a bard NPC (plus it's extremely time consuming- titles for every job and silver/bronze too ><)
After too many card campaigns, finally completed all Artifact Armor +3. Foire Taj +3 waiting to be picked up and then...it's all done! (Please Mastery Rank 9)
  Relic done, Empyrean done, and now Artifact too. Now I can start playing the game.

 honestly I could have waited for them to come back from afk and just offer a trade or something but this is way funnier two cards down, two to go. could just make some alts, but, again, this is at least ten times funnier.

Treating this as the "stupid questions about titles" thread: The Mog Garden title for "interact with the monster" 1000 times, that does not count harvesting items, right?

Can't say with 100% certainty, but when SE has used that language before, it means the "pet, poke, slap" etc. That was my assumption - that the actual "interact with the monster" menu option was the only thing that counted - but it never hurts to be sure. It's gonna be gated behind 1000 "put it down" anyway because that takes twice as long, minimum!
Collecting items does not count, only slap/poke/pet/etc from the interact with the [...] menu.
You can check the numbers from the menu in the mog garden. Learn about the garden > Tidbits of information.

(lol at you having precisely 1001 furrow gathers. also how did you miss two pond fishing when you had coast fishing those two days?!) I amaze myself all the time that I went in their for more than a year and didn't click on either. I mostly used it for changing jobs and porter packer and then once this thread was really going, I got into it and then the long grind began.
More questions for the people who'd know: Monstrosity. I want some of the cool species and 25k is a lot of infamy. What are the good level ranges to actually level in Buburimu/Xarcabard/Uleguerand?
Like I can (not incredibly slowly, at an actually reasonable pace) do something like Bubu 14-24ish before it slows down, Xarc 41-55ish, Uleg 60+. Is the intent just to level multiple mobs through there that way? Or am I supposed to do like, picking on little junk and lean on the RoE objectives or something? Bubu from 15 until you're 99 pretty much. Can one-shot mobs with the right instincts.

Yeah, it is unfortunate but Bubu with RoE objectives is way faster than playing the system how it was meant to be played.
If you aren't in a rush, I recommend doing a more variable path and xping your way up on a small body monster (like rarab) through whatever old camps you remember. I had a ton of fun with the system before it became a slow Bubu grind. Still one of the few things I can do without wardrobes during free login.

[34 days between previous and next post]Back again with a random question. The people in this thread are most likely to have ever chocobo raced - can one of y'all on Asura burn some Chocobucks on several stacks of Vomp Carrots and deliverybox mail them to me? There's none on the AH and Wildgrass Seeds kinda suck at growing them in the Furrows and I really, really hate actual Mog House gardening.
 The grind continues. The bump up was literally just the completion of the four "kill Jailer of X" RoEs to get me to 673 total completed. Not a nice round number of those, nor of titles, nor of anything else really, but hey, adds up. ...still gotta do Fiat Lux and kill a million 21-168 hour NMs and finish six more Abyssea zones and and and...

The jump from 6 to 7 is obviously the biggest, it'll be a slog.

I meant the biggest yet, till the next You could say on a meta level too, how many ever actually make it to rank 8, very very few. Like 20 total lol. Yeah, I doubt I'll actually make it. But the grind is fun, except for the parts that aren't which I just put off :P
Did you already get the Virtuous Saint title before doing the RoEs?
As rank 7, I haven't even done 500 total RoEs and am not really going out of my way to do them if they don't directly contribute to rank. |
