Does Murgleis gain 1:3 health to mana convert at base 99/119, or at afterglow stage? The BG-Wiki page has it listed on the 99/119 base pages, but after the afterglow information, so it is unclear. I'm at base 119 now and I'm pretty sure I'm still getting 1:2 health to mana convert (though maybe my math was just off).

Here is what the older wiki has to say about Murg at 75.

"Convert works as normal and adds 50% of max HP to MP"

I don't have a murg, but the jp wiki says that it gives you back 50% of your max hp. I also remember someone who posted on this site who showed off how the convert worked a few years ago and iirc he confirmed that it does refund 50% of your max hp. I think he mentioned how it interacts with the convert job point category, but I honestly don't remember now.

I replied to you on reddit too, but here it is:

Honestly it might not be 1:3, it might just be 1:2 at 119 III. There was such little information on the Murgelis and it must have just been assumed from back when the 99 version was released in 2012.

Now that you confirmed the 99 and 119 are 1:2 I will make those adjustments.

When the 119 III versions were released, they only changed relic aftermath to be beefier. They did not change mythics, so I highly doubt it gets upgraded to 1:3.

I can stumble through a test later if needed, I'm "almost full" with my AG convert stick, but I will need to take a snapshot of max HP/MP before I convert to give exact #s

Is there anything I can use to log exact numbers as they change other than the ol' eyeballs? I'd be glad to provide concrete numbers if there's something to log them with.

That's the real curiosity to me, the interaction with the job point category. Mostly because my RDM was mastered before I AG'ed my murg, and the growth of my mythic kinda paired with SE released Job Points, so I never really kept an eye on "what was what".

This is something I kludged together and tossed in my gearswap lua while I was testing the mp return on tenebrae + vivacious pulse.

If you change all the instances of MP to HP then it should report on each HP change and say how much it changed by.
Code
windower.register_event('mp change', function(new, old)
    diff = new - old
    add_to_chat(140,'MP Change:Old:'..old..'. New:'..new..'. Change:'..diff)
end)

the talk page

the test server was wonderful

I guess it could be that they reverted it, but the last time I could access level 99 mythics it was still as listed.

Test server always had some weird inconsistencies (like the magic accuracy issue that had plagued weaponskills and blue magic for the longest time). Would be real weird if no one noticed this but then again murgleis isn't historically the most popular mythic.

Whoever tests this, make sure you take the convert job points into consideration.

Me, Fae, Rrice and Ticktick from the bg-wiki discorde tested this. Rrice is Master RDM with Murgleis, and provided us with a bunch of data:
Code
{ maxHP = 2194; MP = 157; cHP = 1692 }
{ maxHP = 1664; MP = 180; cHP = 1344 }
{ maxHP = 2154; MP = 153; cHP = 1660 }
{ maxHP = 2154; MP = 4;   cHP = 1511 }
{ maxHP = 2169; MP = 10;  cHP = 1527 }
* cHP = post-convert HP

Murgleis does not give 1:3 MP to HP swap, but rather it gives you 50% of your max HP on top of how many MP you had.

Formula:
Converted HP = floor( maxHP * p ) + floor( maxHP * q ) + MP

MP = current MP at the time of convert
p = Murgleis bonus: 0 (no Murgleis equipped) or 0.5 (Murgleis equipped)
q = Convert Job Points category, 0.01 per level: 0 (no JP) to 0.2 (20/20)

Hence, master RDM with Murgleis gets Converted HP = floor(maxHP*0.5) + floor(maxHP*0.2) + MP

HP still get converted to MP 1:1.

And now I sleep.
